  1. Past hour
  2. we put the ball on the ground a lot lately, so i can see a fumble or two. I wouldn't say they turn them into points, but with a kicker like the one they got...
  3. Westwood has the best roster on paper no one will argue that. But there are lots of good teams in the region. I selfishly predict Onalaska vs Westwood in Regional final game and it should be a rematch game as Onalaska will be traveling to Westwood in December which will likely be a matchup of two top 5 teams when they meet if not 1 vs 2.
  4. meh, he's politician. look, i'm sure as a person, he's a nice guy. He's saying all the right words, but i don't see it translate in BIG games. Lets be real. PAM have experience AND the talent compared to anyone else in the district. Like the interview said, a lot of them have been on varsity for a long time. A lot of teams have lost the talent they had last year, sucks for them. That made it easier for us. That's not me saying we weak or had a cupcake schedule cause that's something the team have no control over(except preseason). The one thing they are doing that i have been begging for years is to keep their foot on the throat of the opps!! In other words, if you are clearly better than the other team, STOP PLAYING DOWN TO LESSER TEAMS!! and they actually haven't done that this year it shows. Blowing out teams that have no business on the field with you is how you show dominance, killer instinct and that you are not taking anyone lightly.
  5. I will be gathering and posting schedules to the schedule thread up top of forum. If you have any of our coverage area teams schedules, please post them here in this thread. Thanks Here are our coverage area teams: 23-6A (Goose Creek Memorial, Channelview, North Shore, Humble, Atascocita, Summer Creek, Kingwood, CE King) 18-5A (Crosby, Dayton, Kingwood Park, Porter, West Fork, Pasadena, Splendora) 19-5A (Baytown Lee, Baytown Sterling, Beaumont United, Beaumont West Brook, Barbers Hill, Nederland, PA Memorial, PN-G) 18-4A (Bridge City, Jasper, Lumberton, LC-M, Silsbee, Vidor, WO-S) 19-4A (Tarkington, Hamshire-Fannett, Hardin-Jefferson, Huffman, Liberty, Livingston, Shepherd) 21-3A (Diboll, Huntington, Lufkin Pineywoods, Central Heights, Newton, Pollok Central, Woodville) 22-3A (Anahuac, Buna, East Chambers, Hardin, Kirbyville, Kountze, Orangefield, Warren) 23-3A (Anderson-Shiro, Coldspring, Crockett, New Waverly, Onalaska, Trinity) 24-2A (Chireno, Colmesneil, Corrigan-Camden, Hemphill, San Augustine, Shelbyville, West Sabine, Woden) 25-2A (Big Sandy, Danbury, Deweyville, Evadale, Sabine Pass, West Hardin) 28-1A (Brookeland, Burkeville, Chester, Goodrich, High Island, Hull-Daisetta, Leggett, Spurger)
  6. I don't think they are worthy just yet. I also don't think a lot of the folks involved in the rankings knew about the transfer to HJ. But even with Lowe, not sure how good they will be. Time will tell.
  7. I thought maybe I’d see HJ in the top 25. Westwood winning 3A D2 this year is almost a guarantee barring injuries…
  8. I will be attending this Saturday's game. Wife wants to go see some of her friends for Homecoming. Will be tailgating before the game. Look forward to it all.
  9. Yep, Horns got exposed.......
  10. I feel like the Bruins gets some points via defense or special teams.
  11. Coaches fill out a form and rank a region then return it to TABC. So if a team is ranked, it's mostly due to the coaches input. But I am certain some coaches and media are not privy to all info on some teams. I knew about the two transfers for West Brook. I would have them right there with BU.
  12. Today
  13. This week's FCS Coaches poll has Lamar at #18 and Southeastern Louisiana at #22. SFA and UTRGV (this weekend's opponent) also received votes. The Stats Perform poll has Lamar #17 and SFA #25. Southeastern Louisiana also received votes in this poll.
  14. Texas Sports Writers Association [Hidden Content]
  15. We know why they won't schudule us... Pretty obvious giving the history of us vs. them.
  16. Exactly what I was thinking. In both Cleveland and Splendora's case it has hindered them more than helped.
  17. Hunter was all state defense. Hunter, Hyder, Taylor, Walsh and Johnson were all district.
  18. Woodville has had to replace a lot of great defensive players every other year. Due to that we've had some defenses not as good as others but none have ever been this bad. There's only a couple guys within the program this year that are accustomed to giving up 70 and none of them are players.
  19. According to Max Preps last year: Boys futbol was 5-13-4 and Girls futbol was 2-15-7. So, No.
  20. From ih10 to ih10 on 99 will be packed within the next 15 years. I expect at least 6 or 7 new schools just along 99.
  21. I think this game will be similar to the Hightower game, specifically the 1st half.
  22. So you have WB scoring more points than Hightower? Okay, we'll see I'll say this: WB has a kid that can kick from 50
  23. My thoughts are PAM wins this, still believe they are head and shoulders above everyone else in district this year. The only one who can stand in the way of the Titans are themselves, at least in district play. Playing at home gives them even more of an edge. BWB has grown and become a better team than last season, they won't lay down and they have the athletes to match PAM. Two opposing QBs who have great WRs, can throw the ball and are dynamic runners. This has all the markings of a big rival match up. PAM by +14
  24. Means a lot coming from you. 😂 Have a good day.
