Who do the Astros have they would be willing to move, what could you get for the player(s) you would give up, who would need/want them, and what teams could build a better package with so many teams in contention this year? We could see a shocker move, a "flyer" move for an old pitcher as a salary dump for another team, and possibly nothing big or nothing at all. Wait, see, and wonder. Will be an interesting day across the league.

Good stuff… I honestly don’t know what to expect from my Brahmas this year… I like what I saw from our freshman and JV teams last season… but I think overall this will be a Varsity squad that will go through some growing pains in non district…especially having to face two pre season 4A top 10s and the 3A preseason #1. Coach Rowe did them no favors when making the non district schedule which appears will be a baptism by fire process 🤣

Scrimmage??

In :22 and '23 PNG had a spring intrasquad game and 1 preseason scrimmage. Maybe 2, but I only recall 1. PAM was sort of their 2nd scrimmage. Maybe it works out that way again this season, but anyway its a good first game. It'll be interesting to see which QBs end up on top. Defense is a big question mark, and special teams too, so this game will reveal a lot. Should be a sellout.

There is no team that "cant practice". Worst case scenario is to start practice at 4:00-4:30.

I agree. Only way Houston gets another arm for this season is to give up a player or two on the current big league roster.

Astros have the worse farm system don’t have much to give… after all the big trades over the years.
