I would not say he got smoked - but he lost by 5 points so far...... A lot of that has to do with Trumps endorsement. Trump still has an 84% approval rating among Republicans down from 91%. To give you a comparison, Obama, Bush, Clinton were high 70's to low 80's. The house and Senate could go either way right now - and historically, that is not how it should go...... [Hidden Content]

The only Sr. D1 is the TE. The rest are underclassmen. LP looks to be a beast for at least the next 2 years. One of the D1 WR is only a freshman with offers from Baylor & others already. If all stay at LP and healthy, we should have some good battles again.

I hear ya’. I’m waiting to see about the entire D myself. They may not have to be a juggernaut this year. Just serviceable, bend don’t break. This is the first time I can remember—and I’ve been watching the program since the 70’s—that LP actually has 2 D1 deep threats, along with a D1 commit TE, a D1 QB, and Sean Simon. Add in a K who is solid from 50 in, and a Soph RB who could probably start for many other teams. All at the same time. There will be some points scored this year—regardless of the defense of the opponent. Just too much to cover. How things will be shared will be interesting.

I think that’s been their weakness for awhile. I don’t remember EC ever really having big linemen honestly. They have strong fast guys up front to open holes and hold their blocks long enough to get the play off but don’t think I’ve seen any big guys up front for the Bucs. Early 2000’s I remember Thomas Macie, Chris Cox and a few others that were bigger linemen but after that I think it’s been guys that are just strong and can get of the ball fast

He will be a bigtime standout at EC playing at the 3A level and now being an upperclassman. He was probably just another great athlete at PA Memorial that just blended in. He'll make a difference on both sides of the ball at EC.

United will have that "same energy" plus some Friday when they beat the brakes off L-town

Franklin averages around 100 kids year to year in the program. Freshman, JV, and Varsity have about 30-35 kids each. Our senior class is smaller this year then they have been.
