  3. Fondren Clinic is a good place. Wife had carpal tunnel surgery done there.
  4. Looks like it will be just my daughter and me tonight. It's her ex's weekend to have the boys and he said no to us taking them to game. Neither of us were too happy about it.
  5. Hope Coach Barlow gets the job, were college teammates and that's home for him. Good luck !!!
  6. That is Really high. I pay $314.88 a month, for medical, dental and vision for me and one dependent, with 25 dollar co-pays and a $1200 deductible. This is the first year they offered this plan. Last year I as paying less, but the deductible was $2500.00, so it was like I didn't have insurance because I never met my deductible. It worked out because I'm having neck issues and about to go see a specialist. The only catch is Doctor has to be in network, and so far so good - Even the Fondren Clinic in Houston is in network.
  7. Come early and be loud! Pack the house please!! Support the hometown team!
  8. In the late 70s-early 80s, my company paid for my Blue Cross/Blue Shield 100%. We didn’t know what co-pay was and I had 100% coverage. None of that 80/20 crapola. Company was sold and the day it was official, it went to 80/20 and we had to start contributing to our coverage. We complained that we had to pay like $20 per month. Since those days, insurance coverage, especially hospitalization, has sky rocketed. I would place the blame for health insurance costs on greed and Obamacare.
  9. Sure they could have higher expectations… nothing wrong with that considering the tradition of the program… but that wasn’t the case with a lot of the fans they were out for blood and were terrible towards Coach Hickman… A lot of it was uncalled for.
  10. You hit the nail right on the head. You can’t negotiate with Crazy!
  11. $700 a month is cheap! For a family of 4 through my wife’s employer it’s $2300 a month and that’s with the employer contributing to it plus high deductibles.
  12. Here’s a good Trump effect comparison. For those who are still not used to Trump’s , this is just how he is.
  13. Regardless of our assistance, and the IDF's tech, they still only field manpower of around 660,000. Iran fields manpower of almost 1.2 Million. Israel can't commit the entire strength of the IDF manpower to Iran. That would leave them open to their north. They can't do it alone. Interesting numbers for those interested. I can guarantee our folks are aware of this information. Problem is, I think Iran's resolve was severely underestimated. You can't negotiate with crazy. 14. Greg Wise will be missed. He is synonymous with Houston area basketball. Jack Yates basketball just won't be the same without him. Congrats Coach on your career.
  15. They will begin the tear down process of the stadium immediately after the last Lufkin home game 2026. They will also move the one year old turf over to the Middle School field and are building a new track there at the same time to use in 2027 while new stadium is under construction at the HS. All Lufkin home games in 2027 will be played at SFA Homer Bryce Stadium. SFA may also be planning a stadium renovation in 2028, if this is so, then SFA will be offered to play their home games at the new Abe Martin Stadium in 2028.
  16. One of the reasons we need them..... I agree we need to go in with boots on the ground in Iran.....but it needs to be Israel's boots. We can provide equipment, technology and air support. That should of been the deal at the beginning.....
  17. I retired and kept my insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal (Basic). Emergency room was $100.00 dollars last year now it is $400.00 dollars.
  18. Try almost $3500. Yes, we get some back. But, the bill for the privilege of having a card is still over $2000/mo. That's for a spouse who has a condition where there is no treatment or cure. But, I want coverage in case she falls ill due to the common side effects of pneumonia, falls/broken bones (which she just had Monday), choking, etc. Her Botox shots to try and help with her palsy run $5000 a pop.
  19. They have been off a lot this year. I would like to see a Trump health care or any health care be replaced over the current plan. I am paying $700 a month for myself and wife.
  20. This is all theater. There's no way there will be enough votes to override a POTUS veto.
  21. The House has had more days off then Federal Holidays. Is this not wasteful spending. They won't do there job.😡
  22. Agree also. Used to see people promised food, and then bussed in. Not sure if that still happens or not.
