Maybe in your old age, you have forgotten that Yates returns Swift AND JC Washington next year along with the PG JoJo Anderson....It will be much of the same next year in region 3-3A... 8)

That's the most asinine statement you've posted. You can't answer the question as to what gives us an advantage on the 2A level. We don't have millions of kids to pull from for our basketball PROGRAM. When we competed at the 3A level we were actually one of the smallest 3A's competing and we won, yearly, with those numbers.

Its OK...I have nothing to prove to either of you about my ability as a coach...Not an issue...I know how much you guys hate me and my success and PRAY that I fail...no big deal, it is what it is... I had not thought about the possibility of DODGING playoff opponents, since that is something that I do not believe in...Let me get back to work here....Have to build on this CONFERENCE TITLE, that we just won, preparing for the conference tourney and NCAA tourney that we will be in here soon....Enjoy your day, and go out and watch your teams baseball and softball games, since basketball is now OVER... ;)

No one is dodging anything (except maybe you in regards to my bet). ;)

You stated that no Hardin County team would make regionals next year and I disputed that with scenarios that would put a Hardin County team at the regional tourney.

You tried to throw something at me about my age and not remembering who Yates had returning yet that fact doesn't matter to Kountze being they do not play Yates and Silsbee or HJ in the fact that if one of those teams happen to finish 2nd in 21-3A, they would not face Yates till regional finals.

You stuck your foot in your mouth again, and now wish to crawfish out of it.

All of us Do not hate you. Your a pretty cool guy in person. I understand you being proud of being "inner city" Not urban cowboys ;D like the rest of us. But just because kids are in a urban environment doesn't mean you cant play some ball. The urban kids put on there shoes just like everyone else. and they can hang with the best of them. Depth you will always have an advantage in. Just because of the sheer numbers you are pulling from. Congrats on your conference title. I didn't know that.

Oh, for sure, DickieV will make sure that everyone knows of the success of his current position.  However, his history isn't that strong.  What are his chances of being on that staff for more than 2 years?  We'll see. 8)

I have been in the game for 15 years now...You are going to have ups and downs...I also have a state title, a couple of state appearances, a few regional titles and appearances, a bunch of district championships, 3 city championships (as a 9th grade coach), and now a SECOND NCAA conference title, and counting....STOP watching ME and MY career so closely.  Seems like a little jealousy going on from you, man..I plan on being here until I decide its time to move up or on for the money or a better opportunity...I have been blessed to be in a GREAT spot here financially and program wise...Its not about how many times you fall, its about how many times you GET UP...
