Looks like Class 3A (which will be 4A in 2014) will split like 1A & 2A

Correct.

Only 5A and 6A will keep regular type districts.

Division 1 would be stacked!!!! 6 of those teams are playoff teams almost every year

I like being in a district with these teams more than where we have been last 2 realignments.

I agree your D1 is full of strong teams, but, with the exception of stand-out Coldspring, this D2 will be competitive. These D2s haven't been able to compete with the larger schools, again the exception being CS. That's the whole reason for having two divisions. I like it. Now, I agree with other posters that 4 teams going to the playoffs is ridiculous.
