Soulja I was to my end with this game..we couldn't rebound for nothing. .gotta fix that asap. ..
It is very hard to rebound when the Ozen players have both arms wrapped around your body.  And when Ozen players jump up and chop you on the shoulder with their elbow (4).  For the majority of the game, the calls were even, what was fair for one was fair for the other.  But, as the regulation game came to an end, the refereeing was so biased, even a "non-basketball" person could tell.  Talk about needing to fix something.
Y'all will be alright.  You can't expect to win rebounding battles with taller teams.  Your strength it's quickness and guard play.  Tall will win many more games with that.

Not sure what u mean..there were a a lot of questionable calls both ways..this is probably the first time the officiating has been pretty much even and u have the nerve to say something silly like this seriously ...I'm not sure what game u watched but Central was fouling for no reason at the end of regulation..oh and the shot Hunter took at the end he got fouled on ...#31 and #20 had a handful of jersey on that shot attempt... ???
i can't say I saw that. I saw a Ozen team that clearly had better shooters then my jags. If we can't spread the floor by hitting some outside shots, wiliridge will not have room to do what clearly he's capable of doing.
Free throws are crucial especially in these types of contest. Hats off to Ozen, your resiliency helped you prevail.

Ozen cranked it up a notch at the end and Central couldn't match it.  Ozen's spark was fueled from little Dove's cold hearted 3 in the 4th.  Momentum was shifted Ozen's way after that.
It's funny.  2 losses in recent memory  ( Dallas Madison and Ozen ) was in a game where we were reluctant to shoot the 3.  It wasn't like we were taking them end missed.  We maybe only attempted 1...and I do know we have some pretty good shooters on this team.  In games like the one last night, you can help your team out by ATTEMPTING the 3 ball.

We needed a  loss like this to humble the team.  Hopefully, a lesson was learned and we'll be ready if a similar situation presents itself in the playoffs.
In Central's games Vs. LCM and Ned, the Jags only made one 3 in each game. I would guess central did not take more than 3-3s against us last Friday night? Central doesn't need to shoot many 3's to win, IMO.
Yes, true.  With all that said, Central still had ample opportunities to win in both regulation and overtime.
the perimeter game would open up so much for wiliridge. The guards for some reason don't take enough perimeter shots. I saw a few times when, a shot was open and the kid close to go in closer to where defenders were, smh  ::) ::)::)

I asked someone in the program why #23 Wells doesn't play because IMO he is the BEST SHOOTER ON THE TEAM..their reply was he doesn't rebound or play good enough defense  :o.. I'm like your not serious right...pair him up on the same side as Wildrige either in the corner or at the top of the key and banggggggg...it opens up ....
If he can shoot then he should be getting playing time. The rebounding should be left with the beef-eaters in the paint.
