I truly hope this was the Tigers bad game in this tournament....Happy to see Elam put up a great game, it was the difference....I think we can beat Wheatley with a solid performance.....on the other hand i'm wondering can Chapel Hill pull the upset on Washington....would love to see Silsbee vs Washington matchup for all the marbles with a trip to state on the line

If last night was any indication of how Silsbee plays this season,they will win district but way too many turnovers....not getting back on defense...out rebounded...those things have to be cleaned up,,,,i watched Westbrook drive the length of the court and shoot layups,no one stopping the ball way too many times....

If i'm missing something,would someone on this forum tell me what it is?....everybody in playoffs running up the score on their opponents and when Silsbee gets the game in hand they call off the dogs and play reserves....Is that a true comparison of the team?....IJS.....getting up by 20 and still playing starters just don't seem to be sportsmanlike....

I see a lot of talk about how Silsbee will get destroyed by Bellville....I went back and looked at the game between Madisonville & Bellville.....Madisonville had too many mistakes early in the game and compounded that with a lot of missed tackles....I don't see Silsbee making those mistakes and i know for a fact they will tackle better than Madisonville...# 5 is a good back for Bellville but so was Rayshon Smith (Sealy).....

I watched the game between Gonzales & Gatesville.....they ran the ball all night....threw 4 passes all game....Rayshon Smith is a good RB...offensive line really blocks well...

Silsbee players and coaches need to understand that there's already a target on your back because you're projected to make a deep run in the playoffs....anything your opponent can do to beat you,they will do...trash talking,late hits are to their advantage,,,,these teams have nothing to lose because they'll be underdogs against Silsbee anyway,,,knocking you off is all that's on their minds...any way possible...

Was Silsbee in blue or was that just Texanlive broadcast?

I really don't think Silsbee will have any trouble with Sealy unless they can get pressure on Silsbee's QB,,,,1st time i saw all year that if he's got a good pocket, he's very accurate....get him to move around in the pocket not so good...had a touchdown last night if he would have ran the ball....maybe he's waiting until the playoffs....

All i ask is that the Silsbee coaches stress to the football team that being ranked #2 in the state already puts a target on your back because all the opponents you play will be bringing their best to knock you down a notch.....I know they are young men with emotions but also need to understand, just be cool when provoked.....Silsbee doesn't need to have anyone thrown out of the game.....you are on a mission to win a state championship....that is your only objective and you need everybody to contribute.....
