They were loaded with talent everywhere.  Jasper moved the ball a bit on the ground and had some open looks through the air, but this team was just to explosive to beat without some major help.

Defense came out flat. Offense was decent at best. Stangs will come out on a mission Friday and DESTROY Lorena.

Does anyone REALLY believe Navasota will lose to LaMarque. Is it more LaMarque must play great and get lucky or Navasota must have the worst game of their year or both?

La'marque is banged up right now but they will give Navasota a great game an imo possibly beat Navasota. LM's defense isn't as good as WOS imo but they are right there an have some kids who wont quit. The problem will be LM's offense scoring points

I honestly think LaMarque will. I don't care how talented you are as a team..you just don't blow through the playoffs and not have a close game. There will be a game where you come out flat (much like WOS did last night). From here on out if you come out flat your gonna get beat. Hopefully, WOS learned a lesson last night (plus West Columbia played their hearts out). If you come out flat against either LaMarque or WOS, you will get beat. I just think Navasota is due a bad game and never underestimate a team with the championship heritage that LaMarque has. I will say one thing, this region champion will win state, whoever it is.

Navasota is not as high and might as they make themselves out to be. They haven't played a team like La marque or WOS all year IMO, i think la marque will give them a run for their "rings". But offense will have to utilize a lot more of its playbook. Our plays last night were as simplistic as i've seen all year. All we did was run the ball down their throats with our two workhorse RB's and QB draw. I guess coach figured we would grind out this game and not throw it up for chance.

Right on Aggiesarewe, best football team I have seen in years.  Passing game rivaled most D1 colleges.  Their uniforms will fit nicely in Cowboys Stadium in a few weeks.

You don't even get my point..not denying Navasota is a great team..but even great teams lose. Especially when a team BELIEVES they can beat you. LaMarque's heritage makes them BELIEVE they can beat you. Lots of the most talented teams NEVER win state championships. When you keep thinking your unbeatable you usually fall pretty hard. A passing team looks great on paper and in most games, but what about a bad weather game? Qb's don't go through an entire season being on target. There is a lot more things that can go wrong with a passing team than a running team. If you beat LaMarque I think I can safely say that should WOS get there we will be the most athletic and fastest team you have seen all year. IF you beat us both, I'll say congrats and win the state champ to you.
