AFTER HOURS OF FILM STUDY HERE IS MY ASSESSMENT OF THE NED / DAY GAME.

DEFENSE                              OFFENSE                                SPECIAL TEAMS

In all seriousness, that's what i see... maybe a wash for LB and DB. Nederland huge advantage on both lines, If dayton can score, they can win, period. Nederlands not gonna throw 40 on the board.

Here some stats for y'all.

Nederland held Vidor's offense (the leading offense in 20-4A) to 311 yards and 13 points. There lowest scoring and yardage game of the season. Last night Vidor put up 27 points and 460 yards on 19-4a's second best defense. So it is safe to say that no one in 19-4a has the defense that Ned does.

And after last week you have to wonder which Dayton team will show up. I don't think it matters.

This should be a great game. The team that makes the least amount of mistakes will win it. I expect a great effort from Dayton after last weeks debacle. Nederland has been looking better and better each week. Hoping for a clean and injury free game. About to head out in about 30 minutes!

Dayton offense hasn't been doing good for most of the season. I know against BH, they scored on a kickoff, and then a busted play with 1 minute left in game. Congrats Dogs

The big deal was our QB went out of the game early in first quarter (Sounds like excuse, but truth). Just saying their offense has been struggling for a while. There also wasn't much throwing do to wind, although BH hardly ever throws. We started throwing a little last night against Livingston, just enough to keep them guessing. Not taking anything away from Nederland, just stating issues the Bronx have had recently.

I AGREE..........THINK DA BRONX FANS HAVE BEEN A LITTLE SPOILED OVER THE PAST YEARS SEEIN 20-4A TEAMS IN THE FIRST ROUND ( WE USUALLY CALL IT BYE WEEK) EVERY YEAR. DIDNT WORK OUT TO GOOD THIS YEAR.

Half of them will be back.  Kimler, Sage, Washington and Malveaux will all be back.  Dont forget about Mayfield, tore his ACL in pre-season, but could be better than Wood and Stampley.

Still a lot to replace. Losing half that dline and stampley and wood are gonna hurt bad.
