I see Coach Taylor (if he doesn't follow Coach Barbay to Jasper, assuming what we think will happen actually happens), Coach Foreman and Coach Michael Broussard (if they apply) amongst those getting a good look for the Anahuac job, if it indeed comes open.

i feel micheal broussard is the man for this job! He served as oc during these resent run of success he knows the kids, the coaches, and program. a very hungry young coach, would make almost seemless transition for the panthers!

Toby Foreman would do great in Anahuac. He relates to all kids!  Has had success at every place he has been.  Track head coach, assistant football, and coordinator in football all were successful stints.  Demands respect from kids.  Great all around guy.

There's a better chance of Broussard going to Jasper with Barbay than him becoming the HC in Anahuac. As for Taylor, can anyone tell me what his football coaching role has been the past couple years?? He wasn't in charge of the offense or defense.

He would certainly be a good fit as he has some experience at the smaller school level.  The question would be whether he has the interest in Anahuac that he did for Jasper.

Would also work well given his experience under Coach Valastro at East Chambers.  He might also be interested as it would not be a very long move distance wise for him.

Being that Taylor is a hometown guy and the relationship he has with those kids and that staff it would be foolish for him not to have a legit shot.  Not sure if he carried any oc or dc titles but that shouldn't be a reason to keep him out of the hunt.  Keeping the stability between the players and coaches will be what is important.  Good luck to all that apply and a special good luck to Taylor if he wants it!!!

Rusty Cauthern would be a good fit. He is good with kids and can get the most out of his players. Good discipline as well as  won state championship as a DC. This is the right man for job. [color=red][size=14pt][/size][/color]

Taylor has been one of Darrell's number ones since he has been in Anahuac.  He has ran the operation during the summer, and has been his assistant head coach this last year after Brousard left.  Has he been calling the defense or offense no but special teams and any other part of the football operation he has done it. Taylor is a good guy and would keep the program going in the right direction.

It will be interesting to see what current head coaches in the area apply.  I wonder if there will be any surprises.  It is a good small school job where you can be successful.

To be able to win in this district we need a proven Head Coach that knows how to win, just my opinion.
