So it looks as if Buna has yet to get a "W" against a 21-3A team  :'(  Better enjoy your last season in 2A.  Hopefully playing this type of schedule will allow you guys to have a run for the title again in the 2A ranks, good luck.

You are only as good as the competition you seek to test yourself.  Buna will not be a basement dweller in 3a because of the continual flow of above average players that come to the program as is common in lots of schools in our area that annually field competitive squads.  3a will only set the standard higher and define the work needed more clearly.  Top runner, well I doubt that will be the likely outcome in short order, but competitive on a daily basis, for sure.  The other 3a programs know it to, or else they wouldn't pitch some of their most formidable pitchers against them, which they always do.  No real need to worry about next year or talk about last year, time to get it done this year.
