Yes, he dropped the ball, but the pitcher picked it up and tagged the runner.  The runner never touched home plate.  He slid but didn't even come close to the plate.  It was obvious from the ground and the stands.  We watched the video and it confirmed it.  Can't figure how the umpire didn't call him out.  Oh well that's baseball.
Any chance you could share this video confirmation of the play with us viewers?
Interesting. Well that sure changes things because unless Lumberton pulls one out if the hat Tuesday (and its very possible that they could), then they are going to fall to 7-6 and will be tied with the winner of the Vidor v. Livingston game. LCM is going to win Tuesday so they will be at least guaranteed a tie for 3rd or 4th regardless of their game Friday. But since head-to-head is out, there is still a decent chance that Lumberton, Vidor, and Livingston could all be tied for 4th at 7-7 after Friday. Wonder how they would sort that out. I sure hope it wouldn't involve flipping coins, that is the worst idea ever to determine a ticket to the playoffs after a team spends an entire season to get to that point. Either way, things are looking interesting and Tuesday night is a big one for all four of these teams.

Livingston and Vidor have 2 playoff contenders left, Lumberton and LCM have 1 play off team and 1 of the weaker teams left... I believe Ozen is showing to be a stronger opponent here of late is the reason I gave LCM the easiest route.
What makes this even MORE interesting is that every team still fighting for the playoffs can still control their own destiny without any help from another team with the exception of Livingston (they need a Lumberton loss and two LCM losses even if they win out). After Tuesday night's games, there is a very good chance LCM is 8-5 and Lumberton is 7-6. And the winner of Vidor and Livingston will be 7-6... So there is some HUGE value in the Tuesday games next week and they should set up an even BIGGER night next Friday. Cant wait.
 5. I'm going with PNG 6-0 Since Ashworth and Lechik threw Tuesday, I'm assuming PNG will throw Ledoux and Vidor will probably throw Foshee
 6. I'm going with LCM 5-1 Campbell pitched Tuesday for the Raiders so they will go with White tonight. Not sure who the Bears will throw, probably Humphrey
 7.
That would make things interesting next week but I don't see Vidor beating PNG.  But that's why they play the game.  Plus PNG might be sleep-deprived from playing against Ned all night.  :)
I also wouldn't "pick" the Pirates tonight against the Tribe, but they did hold the Indians to 1 hit in their last game (Indians got a run in on a walk with the bases loaded followed up with a three RBI double). So there definitely is possibility the Pirates could pull this one out. Maybe they can squeak a few runs across the plate early enough to get some confidence as they have REALLY struggled to put runs on the board against anyone other than Ozen and Central. I think the LCM/Lumberton game will be the game of the night. Will be interesting to see if the Raiders can circle the wagons and put things back together before its too late. They started 5-0 and since have gone 2-4. Come on L-town! Finish strong!
 8.
If tomorrow Lumberton can pull it out vs LCM, Vidor can pull it out vs PNG, and Livingston takes care of Central... We would have a 3 way tie for 4th between LCM, Vidor, and Livingston all at 6-6 (with LCM owning the breaker over Livingston) That would be awesome and make things real interesting next week!
This would also put Lumberton and PNG tied for second.

PNG is in with one more win OR losses by Vidor and Livingston. Lumberton is in with one more wins unless one of their three losses is against Livingston and Livingston wins out. If they only win against Central and then lose out, unless Vidor or Livingston win out they will at least have a tie for fourth with a split tie breaker. Vidor must win out OR win three of four including a win vs LCM and two losses by LCM in their remaining four. Livingston must win out OR win three of four including a win vs Lumberton and three losses by Lumberton in their remaining five.
