Better than that night for sure  ;)  Come tha 3rd round there are no push overs left and a "better than" team gets caught playin Miss CLEO and lookin to the next round anything can happen. [/quote]I think that our secondary gets so comfortable with the front four causing havoc and they fall asleep and get beat deep, slow starts lately and honestly I think they came into some games overconfident.  I hope that doesn't happen tomorrow... because Dayton is a very dangerous team.

I noticed that there are two QB's that play on Manvel's offense.  What's your opinion on that?

But as I got to know Coach Martin, I realized that his heart was much bigger than the game itself.  Thanks to Coach Martin, both of those QB's (last year) went Div 1.  Both guys were good and earned the right to play... so just as schools rotate WR's, DB's, TB's etc... Coach Martin rotates QB's.  It makes it competitive and brings the best out of both.  It's kinda like having two Mercedes Benz, 2 King Ranch F-350's are whatever you like... The more the better.  It's hard to believe, but these two are better than last years.

[/quote]  Agree young LB 's started out behind the curve but as of late have brought it up a notch in the last several games -almost complettly shut down PNG power running game .( still lack size though) )

IMO our defense is still vulnerable to the big play, DB's won't get their heads around, and most importantly it seems over the past several years the hit ya'n the mouth reputation has gone away.  When Dayton beat Waller in Cy-Fair a few years back that was the most physical football game I have ever seen in highschool sports.  I wanna see some heads knocked off when those receivers come across the middle.  Dayton needs to get that type of physicality back.  Daytons offense for the most part is pretty successful.  They can sputter @ times but I think it has to do w/the play calling, to many lateral plays when we should be going more down the field.  The team as a whole has made great strides over the season and are peaking @ the right time.  If the same Broncos team that played last Saturday shows up Manvel will have their hands full.

This should make for an interesting match up then. Manvel doesn't have a big power back like Bertrand. Manvel's are more quick, shifty-type backs.

If they choose so have had 3A numbers the last re-district but opted to stay 4A.

They dropped from just under 1000 in the last alignment to under 750 for this one. Most of the LM posters on some other boards seem convinced they will shrink some more and will go 3A this time. Guess we'll find out for sure in Feb.
