Some freshmen did play up with the JV.  Fr. WR/RB Kyle McBride ran a kick off back for a TD and the Fr. QB Jakarius Keener scored on about an 8 yard run. A mostly (80%) freshmen defense played the last series (3 plays) and held NF to 0 yardage.

Dayton's Freshmen Scored the last 2 touchdowns.  One on a long kick-off return and the Freshmen team was sent in for the end of the last scoring drive.

There was not a Freshmen game.  North Forest did not have enough to field a team.

I'm hearing alot of good things about the Dogs Freshman class. Combined with a strong group of Sophs many of whom are active participants on Varsity now, I see big things when they are Sr and Jr classes respectively. Will any of those Freshman Pups get indoctrinated as Dogs on Friday night this season?

Combined with a strong group of Sophs many of whom are active participants on Varsity now, I see big things when they are Sr and Jr classes respectively. You could see a few get pulled up for experience after they finish playing games, but I doubt any would get playing time...

Yes he was, but Keener is the starter at QB this year. McBride does see time at QB, but this year he plays receiver primarily.
