I'm just saying that any team can have a bad night...if they have one on a night where they are playing a good team, it is possible that they drop a game.

If what we are seeing in Volleyball right now translates somewhat into basketball, then it will make for an exciting season.

I think we are seeing a great group of girls who work hard and compete very hard come through each school.

HJ is the team to beat. Orangefield lost some key players last year. Not sure what HF or Silsbee have coming back.

Hello its been a while, looking forward to another great basketball season.  up here in palestine tx with Coach Baker hoping for another great season. I think that HF, Silsbee, and HJ will top out in district.

Didn't they lose Heard? Their JV wasn't very good I don't think they have much returning on varsity. Where is the "saltiness" going to come from?

You guys are funny, Orangefield will be at the top again. Maybe not first but in the top two.  WOS, Silsbee and HF have a lot of catching up to do with Orangefield and HJ. Things have not changed in the last 8 years.  ;D ;D

I agree...and I also believe OF has a lot of catching up to do to HJ right now. Top two spots are there. It's a fight for 3rd and I think HF takes that.

Who did HJ lose to Ozen?  I mean...Who "moved"?

HJ at the top.  Orangefield does not have the 2nd spot wrapped up.    HF only lost 2 players (their 2 post).  With lack of size and a new coach its hard to say were HF will end up at the end of the year but i believe they will make playoffs.  HF has very good guard play.  Should win alot of games with their full court pressure.
