I totally agree. If PAM cannot find a better coach than that, then they have extreme problems.

There are hundreds of coaches that are much more qualified that would work out better than him.

Better coach??? He has had success on the floor everywhere he coached; other contraversy outside of coaching and over agressive job switching may have been his only issues! Hey, some people will have their opinion about him regardless of lack of evidence to stand on.

On the SBEC website the person in question's certification is listed as revoked as of 9/4/2007.  Also, here is the definition of "revoked" on the same website:  

A revoked certificate has been rendered [b]permanently invalid[/b] as a result of disciplinary action by the SBEC.

I don't know him personally, or what he did to get his certification revoked, but I bet it can't be good.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he would only need his teaching certification if he was going to teach a class.  He wouldn't need it to coach basketball.

Is this a PAISD requirement?  I've known coaches who were not certified but hired as a teachers aide or a maintenance position.
