To the Rebels players, coaches and fans....remember that of the several schools that started 1A play this spring, only 2 teams were playing for the state championship and yours was one of them.

Evadale Rebels...this diehard HI Cardinal fan is VERY proud of you boys! So many people doubted you and you proved them all wrong. As everyone else has said, YOU were only one of 2 teams playing in that championship and I guarantee you every other team would've loved to have been there. Hold your heads high and be proud!!! WHAT A RIDE!
I know that each of the players wanted different hardware as a result of yesterdays game. To work so tatehard and come up short is a difficult pill to swallow, but in time each of you will see this season as something to take pride in knowing that you had a wild ride that you will remember your entire life.
You won 30 games, you were undefeated in district, you won four playoff series including knocking off the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the state and Cayuga only lost one playoff this year and that was to you guys!
To the seniors Hayden, Tyler (TO), Dylan and Aaron thanks for a great year and much success as you move on to the next stage of your life.
To the juniors Tyler, Billy, Chase, Dustin, Chris, Josh and Wesly you have another chance to relaod and make the run again in 2011. It won't be easy, but you have climbed the mountain and in 2011 I believe you can stand on top.
