I talked to Canales at a camp for a while. He seems to be a very sincere guy. I can see why the boys would want to play for him and I wish him all the best. It was a lot more pleasant then meeting Mac Brown! Mac wacked me on the head and I thought about punching him for a split second!!!  :D

You mean besides the best players in the nation? The national anthem and a moment of silence in which we all pray for the safety of the kids, no matter whose team they are on! It starts in Tank tops and Flip flops and ends with my breath in the air and my kid’s letterman jacket, if someone else doesn’t have it! It begins with hearts filled with pride and concludes with broken hearts for those seniors who are playing their last game!

I cannot even imagine how these tragedies affect the families.  Prayers for all involved. The Ref attempted CPR before he was “taken” to the hospital! I wonder if they normally have an ambulance on site or not?
