There's no doubt it will get off the ground. And, although there isn't as much interest now as the season winds down, it's a great time to iron out the bugs and be ready for the heavy traffic later. Good timing I think.

In Shawnee, been up here for longer than I want to remember. Not bad really. Just miss those Friday Nights! If you have lived in KS very long you know the HS football is lacking.

your right it does turn people away...while a little smack talk is fun everyonce in a while, its no where near the sole purpose of this board...we want this to be a place where southeast texans can come talk about their teams and other teams in an uplifting way

That's correct Birdman. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, whether someone disagrees or not. And that's to be expected on ANY board. However, on this one, name calling, threats and personal attacks WILL NOT be tolerated. At least by me anyways. I'm fine with "spirited" jabs and "smack", but there has to be a line drawn somewhere. On some boards, the line was drawn too late, thus ruining their reputaion from the get-go. We hope to not have that happen on here. The idea is for people from a wide range of communities can participate, while no certain "group" can claim ownership.
