NDN Band

In response to WOS92's post above, (now correct me if I'm wrong) I believe that the teams do switch next year. PN-G facing LM and Ned/Brenham. That Ned/Brenham matchup is a game I'd like to see!

For those of you who don't know him, Brian English is a stand-up guy both on and off the court. He's going to do wonders for Nederland!

[Hidden Content] If you want to know how our region did in music, we are in region 10. If you want to know how your school did, type in your school name in the box and it will pull all the results for your school. The 4A/5A band contest runs through today (Friday), but will be updated by Friday night and you should be able to see all the scores.

I bet his red cape is uncomfortable under his uniform...

It was very good. This region has one of the better region bands - with the exception of the greater Houston and D/FW areas. I think we ended up sending 15 - 20 kids to the All-State Bands. The All-Staters perform on Feb. 18th in San Antonio (usually in front of about 3 - 4,000 parents, friends, and music teachers across the state). :shock:

Thought I'd be the first to post here and also tell you that our Region's best band students will be performing a concert Saturday night, Jan. 14 @ 7 p.m. The concert will be held at the Nederland Performing Arts Center. It's usually got fun music, especially by the time the 1st HS band gets on stage. Hope you can make it!

I must concur guys. Great board! And thanks in advance for not letting it become a Smack Attack. That kind of stuff just turns me away. Keep up the good work!
