Noles_Fan Posted December 17, 2008 Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 This is funny, Lumberton has a couple good (NOT great) years with back to back playoff appearances but get wiped out in the 1st round both years and you would think they won the Super Bowl. How about Lumberton with a few playoff games b4 yall start talking all your crap. It does not really matter once you make it to playoffs who beat who in district play. If I remember correct Lumberton beat Central but who was watching who during the playoffs after the 1st round. All that matters is how far you make it in the post season. Yes, we did lose in the first round this year, but last year we made to the third round, including a win over Lamarque so quit whining about there not being any jags mentioned. Blame the people who select them, not us. Yeah yall made it to the fourth round this year, but yall didn't have any players with the stats like our guys. Maybe next year No one is whining. IMO, Beard deserved every bit of it. Kid is a beast. But I believe that at least 1 Jag player could have at least been honorable mention...Still, no respect. Well, we have to try and earn it again... I did not go to Central or any other Bmt. schools but I'm saying that Lumberton is not a great football school cause they have 2 good yrs., so WHAT you beat LaMarque they are not the school they used to be. Whatelse has your team done in the last 100 years.....NOTHING, so quit acting like your Southlake Carroll(#1 in the nation).
