For Lumberton, #8 - Scott Poole is really a unanimous decision, great speed and excellent ball control. Very powerful leg and soccer savvy ; overall amazing soccer player. #9 - Taylor Granato is a highly underestimated player, he plays which so much heart and desire to get to the ball and score, which is evident in his 7 goals in 3 games in district.

How about the Lumberton Raiders? They may have lost Waldrup, but one man does not make a team. There is a lot of talent returning.

One cannot summarize a persons potential or skill based on stats as a TRUE-Freshman player for a division 2 college, let alone any college. The coaches at Lamar obviously have seen something they like in Cody otherwise he would not being going there. I think it is wrong to try and put down a players ability, and for what? What do you gain by down-grading Hussey? He was a very intelligent running back and is smart with the ball. Speed was the only thing hurting him, but now that he dropped to a 4.5 I think he will be an outstanding running back or slot receiver, if Lamar decides to stay in the spread. Noles, I do not know why you seem so adamant to degrade Lumberton and any player that comes from here, but you should really grow up and congratulate when anyone accomplish something as good as going to college and playing football.

Unfortunately, size does play a huge role in college scholarships. Mcgowan is probably one of the better defensive lineman in the district and has a great motor. He gave Lumberton a lot of problems, but i think his height will be a big handicap in division 1 schools looking at him. He has the talent to play college ball, and I will be very surprised if this young man does not go to atleast a division 2 school.
