That's not a representative comparison. The districts today and teams they play talent wise or nothing like those teams of the past. Even La Marque isn't the same with larger pools and more schools. Our general area has remained quite the same. If we're going to pull in the other coaches, I promise they bring more of a discipline that would reflect through performance but that's neither here nor there. The other comment is just ignorant. You like to bring in a certain topic that screams low self esteem and ignorance. By the way, why did they win all of those titles a decade or so ago. Talent plus discipline equals domination. Now that's facts. What is the overall record of the current coach in a much weaker district and being in an actual classification that's correct for size of school compared to the last couple.....? That should settle this wonderful debate.

HF fans hollering at the WOS coaches in the box was a bad look and extremely uncalled for behavior. Anyone that wants to defend, feel free.  However, they (coaches) had done nothing wrong. 

The coaches handled it extremely well and I commend them.

All I know is this, the dumb , inept, incompetent coaching staff that yall are always looking for any & every reason in the world to denigrate, just coached their team from a 21 point deficit, to a 14 point win. But it luck, bad juju, withchcraft , or maybe somebody kidnap all of HF good players at halftime. Once again, small , insecure people, will always be small and insecure, no amount of facts , logic, or reason will change y’all’s mind. Let me predict the future, if they win state , it’ll be because they didn’t play anybody, it was 100% because of the players,  or the other team felt sorry for them

Bahahahahaha, whatever you say. Two hall of fame coaches by the way came before him. That's a rarity to see that so definitely blessed over the last 3 decades. I'm not saying they need a new coach. You brought those others into play which is completely irrelevant and was not even crossing my mind. They just get outcoached and have way more talent than majority of the teams they play. It has always been that way with overall talent. It seems they have more discipline as of late but still need to tighten things up. Hurling insults is a form of low self esteem and ignorance. That is also facts. Answer this one question for me, has the district and classification the Stangs play in gotten stronger or weaker? Stats don't lie. Two consecutive seasons with losing records? How many times did that happen in the 30 year span we're discussing. Nonetheless, I'll continue to root for Coach H and his team as I love the Stangs. Whatever adjustments were made tonight and over the past two seasons have them hopefully headed in the right direction.  As far as winning a championship, they can't be one dimensional the farther they go in the playoffs. We all know that if you know ball. Take care.

Great week for Coach H!!!

Congrats to the Stangs. Great COACHING adjustments at the half by Coach H, and some bad breaks for the horns, but WOS earned that win. We had chances to put our foot on their throats but couldn’t get it done. Once they got momentum we just couldn’t slow it. No excuses, we wore down and got outplayed in the second half. I sure hope we get a second shot at them, though.

Offensive Play calling cost HF. After up 28-7 the offensive cord went full lost mode.
