It was interesting driving back from Houston.  Was able to return right before it started getting nasty. You folks on the east side of the coverage area got hammered. Wishing you all the best. 

Bostwick stated it got better organized and strengthened over land, which he claimed was highly unusual.

Yup. Mini tornado hit my neighborhood. We good though.

"West Orange-Stark schools to remain closed Wednesday due to widespread power outages."

I dont guess they looked at the outage map. Orange has the least amount in the area. Only a few small spots scattered across town. But I understand being overly cautious.

Hope everyone else was as lucky as us.

No damage that I'm aware of yet, but still no power.  I'm up looking at radar and it looks like north of Beaumont is getting hammered now.  

Hopefully our generator will run a while longer before it runs out of gas.

Week 2 and mother nature is still undefeated. This is a perfect example that nobody knows what gonna happen with these. Best storm models and meteorologist didnt predict this. We appreciate their insights but who else can be wrong 50% and still keep their job? Maybe high school coaches.

Sunrise will be beautiful. Hope for a better day for Setx. Can't wait for game day.

Barely a drop in Kingwood.  My weather station in Livingston showed a gust up to 57 mph, but steady 30-40 mph winds.  Only 2 inches of rain, but i feel it is more.

Vidor lost the most power in Orange County. WOC may be like LCM with out of area staff who lost power.

Had some limbs fall around my house in vidor yesterday other than that just power outage for about 3 hours. Luckily my wife made me get gas and oil for the generator when I got home from work

25 inches of rain for those guys and just to the north of them.

Here where I live just west of Silsbee we so far have received 10 inches.
