I knew he was originally from Center. Didn't know about the SA connection.

SA did get some key transfers for this season.

Will be keeping an eye on those guys this year.

Set to make real run in 2A. 4 players holding FBS offers. 2 more with D2s. All of them play both ways.

They didnt have to establish residency??? Just sent him off to live in a hotel at 15. What could go wrong. This kid will do great in Austin

Not sure but I think IMG Academy has dormitories for their athletes.

It's definitely not for everyone.

This is accurate even for College students.  As a professor I have had 18-20 year olds break down in my office about being away from home because they didn't want their coaches or teammates to see it they come to me. 89Falcon is right on this one.

It is essentially a boarding school.  So residence halls (dorms) do exist.

It wouldn't be for me, not now, nor when I was 15.  But, I throw no stones.  Some kids do what they need to do.  I don't know anything about the young man being discussed in this thread, but I wish him all the best.

IMG facilities are nicer than most D1 facilities. It's basically a college at the high school level. It's also a place where the above avg are just another number.

Probably so, but Canton is well past “above average”. Currently holds 36 FBS offers and has dominated camps against the top players in the nation.

Everyone at IMG is above average. They are all the best or close to the best at their positions. Some can't handle being another number among the best or the daily grind of what a school like IMG demands of you.
