This is an ignorant take. Do you think Barrier would've had the individual success he has had if he had been playing in Chad Taylors offense? On the flip side, do you think Hardin would've had the team success they had this past year had they stayed in Barrier's offense?

On another note, Woodville is a dumpster fire. Two years removed from a state championship appearance, and now staring down the barrel of low level mediocrity for the foreseeable future, all because daddies can't keep their mouth shut. Great job guys!

I thought he looked good at Barbers Hill and was the best fit for him.

His Dad was the head coach if I'm not mistaking and Hardin had athletes. They could have been successful in multiple different offenses. If Woodville continues to sink it's because the current staff is doing everything it can to make sure it does

If WV continues to sink it is because the little league coaches failed to supply the high school with sufficient talent to win. Might be time to get some new coaches in the little league.

Woodville shouldn't run out of talent for the next 5 years at least. Where you coaching at lately? Dont hear you talking about Coldspring much anymore

Sorry to hear that for you guys. Maybe if Coldspring starts making some noise he could have something else to discuss

Maybe. Coldspring will struggle to win a game the next few years. They will benefit from having Tarkington and Kelly on the schedule (similar to WV having Kountze and Warren on the schedule).

His dad was the HC, not Chad Taylor. Everyone knew that class his boy was in would be very good…

I expect it will. Doubt the HC wants to fight the District Attorney and US Congressman. Have to pick your battles.

Hardin had success because they were big up front, ran a wing T, and ran the fire out of the clock. If you truly think they had the horses to run a wide-open offense and sling it around like Barrier did at BH, then I am not sure this conversation is worth continuing to have.

Yes they had good players, but their success this year was a product of that class running Chad Taylor's offense. If Barrier coach and Barrier son had stayed at Hardin, this team would've been in a battle for a playoff spot in their district, not a battle for a potential state championship.

The same group was WIDE OPEN when Barrier played with them in 8th grade. They only would have gotten better had Brady stayed and they remained in a simular offense
