The defense should improve some since just about everybody returns. How much it improves will probably depend on the coaching

If the defense doesn’t improve it will be regarded as a “failure of the little league coaches”. It is already obvious that the little league coaches in WV failed to establish a foundation of defensive skills in the players.

Little league can't make the coaching staff put the right guys in the right position. Not everybody on last years defense came through the little league program. Some were move ins who had never played football previously

Those move-ins were better than the WV little league allstars? Don't think there was a single kid who should have been on the field that wasn't.

Yes but his twin brother is still at Woodville.

I think transferring into BH ultimately cost the last qb NIL money.

Would have looked better against the worse competition and likely picked up some higher caliber offers.

I am curious, if his twin brother is going to another school.  How is his transfer going to be approved?  I guess his parents are getting divorced, or are seperated?

 

I am curious if this staff is going to develop any QB's or just continue to rent them for a season.  Love my Eagles, but this seems to be a growing trend with this new Head Coach.

Didn't the last QB lead the Barbers Hill Eagles to the 4th round?  What program was he at prior?

He started at Hardin, slid over to Anahuac, then bounced over to Barbers Hill. Should have just stayed put at Hardin

How do you know? Do you have information on the coaches who switch jobs that do not have kids that play? Coaching is a volatile business where you can be fired as soon as the right local gets offended. Coaches should do whatever they feel is best for them and their families.

I don't really keep up with it. I know coaches move around but I don't think it's normal to jump around that rapidly. He never stayed any one place for over a year within a 5 year span.

Eh 5 different schools in 5 years is more uncommon to say the least lol even for a coach

This is an ignorant take. Do you think Barrier would've had the individual success he has had if he had been playing in Chad Taylors offense? On the flip side, do you think Hardin would've had the team success they had this past year had they stayed in Barrier's offense? 

On another note, Woodville is a dumpster fire. Two years removed from a state championship appearance, and now staring down the barrel of low level mediocrity for the foreseeable future, all because daddies can't keep their mouth shut. Great job guys!
