I thought it would’ve been yesterday or today. We’ve known these numbers when the were reported a while back, but I guess this is the “official” numbers from the UIL

Here are schools with Difference.

Seeing the official numbers, projections now have 6A cutoff at 2205 (245 schools).

If that is the case, West Brook would be going back to 6A.

Crosby would be moving up too.

Yep, along with Pasadena.

If it somehow drops to 2200, then Angleton, Baytown Sterling and La Porte would go 6A.

In the past, UIL has always had at least 245 schools in 6A. Sometimes 250.

These numbers are not looking good for some of our schools remaining 5A DI.

Not good as in like placing them in reg 2 again..? I sure hope not.

Not good as in they will be 6A schools now, not 5A DI.

5A DI districts that we cover here are Region III

5A DII is in Region II

Yeah but local 5AD1 got placed in reg 2 2020-2022 alignment… didn’t know if you are seeing a pattern like at that time like you do now…

Probably depends on how many of our schools get moved up to 6A.

Thats a development im interested in. Smalley said that wasn't his choice on the last one. And no doubt where they fall is more competitive

Unfortunately my team is at the bottom of that but it will be interesting to see how the district plays out. Wouldn’t mind watching BC battle WOS or HF.

I think that all of 9-4A DII should "opt up". Would give us a chance to have a 4A State Champion and cross out the teams who opt up for no reason other than they are scared. Opting up would get our schools away from Carthage in the State Championship. 

Hopefully UIL will crack down on the "opt up" scam.

Now that’s interesting, would like to hear the thought process on that idea.
