Stadium capacity is 10,800. 5400 each side. Quote

It's about the willingness to host the game. Also, Lamar charges much more to rent their stadium. Lamar also doesn't provide adequate concessions or security that comes with that rental cost. At least that's how they used to be. May have changed their tune the last couple of years. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

BH defense is incredible and Barrier is on fire! Not to mention the FG kicker just Wow. Now we get a rematch with PAM . Who would have thought it would be BH and PAM for the Regional Finals LOL. I think we just proved who has the best district congrats to both Hold up. If I’m not mistaken, you were calling for the lefty less than a month ago. Quote
Matthew328 Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago I've been told likely Doggett Friday night...Lamar is bigger but Doggett has nicer locker rooms and actually wants to host. I dont think either home stadium would be able to host this game properly Doggett is close to halfway so to me Easy call AggiesAreWe 1 Quote

Correct, Barrier has finally caught up we the speed of 5A. He doesn’t look like the same kid, not sure if he has been nursing an injury or what, but he is now leading this team like I would think a DiV 1 recruit would. He has proved me wrong Quote
BHFAN Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago If I was BH I wouldn’t agree to any stadiums in the Beaumont area. I would look to stallworth , Laporte or CEK. Why give PAM the advantage? Quote
PAT00 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Wish l could be there for this one. I just hope the weather is decent with no injuries. Quote

I am 100% in agreement! Early on…say the first 3 or 4 games, he was 1/2 a beat off or so, just enough to make some really bad reads or rush when he didn’t need too. Games, maybe 5-8, something happened. BH is right, he acted more like there was something nagging him, either physically or emotionally…he just wasn’t decisive. It was during the Ball game when I noticed something changing, and again in the Westbrook game. But last week against Anderson and last night against Weiss, he was a totally different player. It’s like all the baggage holding him back; sneaking into his head and clouding up the picture, evaporated! These two were by far, his best games of the season and he looks like a D1 player! Last game notwithstanding, it helps to have the Tripp Davis’, Keegan Morton’s, and the Anthony Bonnetts for yards after the catch they all get to help with Passing yardage stats! Way to go Barrier; way to shake the demons within!!! Way to go Eagles and prove the naysayers wrong and to make this old Eagle feel just a bit guilty for letting some doubt creep in! And last but not least, way to go Simper and staff for abandoning the perceived, let’s play to not lose mentality you showed in the first handful of games when you had a lead, late; and this now this new hunger to win and a new confidence that you can play with the best of them! AWESOME! Enjoy today, because this coming weekend is another “Everest!” — but, you can win it, you’ve proven that! BHFAN 1 Quote

Pretty harsh statements from another poster too. 7 was in and out a boot and they had key O lineman and some skill players out. But you never heard an excuse from any of them. Nothing but positivity. “Daddy Ball” person sure been quiet and sure was 100000% wrong. I mean couldn’t be more wrong on his take. Shoot his last 4 years of takes. But doesn’t matter now. He just through for over 10,000 yards in his high school career. And is now the SE Texas leader in career completions and yards. On to the next one. Quote

Eazy Posted 57 minutes ago Report Posted 57 minutes ago Dayton would probably finish 5th in that District also. Maybe 4th. Quote

With Dayton’s defense (31.5 ppg allowed) I think the Donkeys would finish near the bottom of 9 5A. Enjoy whatever you do in Dayton next Saturday. Not much to root for in Donkey land. Quote
