WAPO: We Messed Up on Trump Story

You ever look at a Leftist post and wonder, where did they get that idea?   Here’s the reason.  WAPO, one of the Leftist MSM giants, just admitted the misquoted Trump, along with many others of the MSM.   If you get all your news from these Democratic Propaganda Machines, you are totally misinformed.

Why did the Georgia Secretary of State delete the full audio of the call from Trump in the first place?

It was only later found in a trash folder on a state computer. They tried to cover the whole thing up. I’ll be waiting on an apology from all the people running their mouths about this edited phone call.

People need to go to jail. Apologizing and stepping down don’t cut it with me. What a travesty of justice. The WAPO can print false news, possibly swaying people’s vote in that runoff senate race. Simply apologize and everything is hunky dory. Also, Cuomo being asked to “step down” due to sexual accusations. I guess, if you hold public office, you can commit felonies and simply “step down”. That’ll show ‘em.

How dare they misquote the phone call in which Trump pressured the GA SOS to "find him 11780 votes" and threatened that they could be found criminally responsible if they failed to do so.

Good morning Unicorn Boy. Little bit more to the story as I said when it happened. Try again.

Correction: Two months after publication of this story, the Georgia secretary of state released an audio recording of President Donald Trump’s December phone call with the state’s top elections investigator. The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump’s comments on the call, based on information provided by a source. Trump did not tell the investigator to “find the fraud” or say she would be “a national hero” if she did so. Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize ballots in Fulton County, Ga., asserting she would find “dishonesty” there. He also told her that she had “the most important job in the country right now.” A story about the recording

. The headline and text of this story have been corrected to remove quotes misattributed to Trump.

There is definitely a bombshell here, but it’s not in the phone call itself. Rather, it lies in the correction and in who — it appears — made up quotes that were never uttered. And, most interestingly, who let the original story go forward as it was without trying to correct the record.
