Last game of district at Hamshire Fannett. WOS by 3+ scores.

Well they're playing better.especially the QB.but they need to continue to work on fundamentals. And stop relaxing when they get a lead.i still haven't seen that killer instinct yet. And playing 4 Qtrs. Still haven't done it yet.

Hated u had to miss it. From here on out. It's all abt the little things.bcz the QB is playing better simple blocking, tackling, and knowing ur assignments just hoping some of the seniors start to lead by example.and they can be a totally different team.

How many Mustangs are still injuried?  If no more players get hurt, will they be full strength come playoff time?

I know Cooper and Sibly went out early in the 1st against HJ.Reinjured ( Cooper ) his ankle he's been nursing all year.Sibly was favoring his leg also but I don't have any specifics. They probably sit out this Friday and if it was me sit them out the first playoff game, don't think we need them.I'm not aware of anyone else.Maybe someone else can chime in.

WOS by 4 TDs they will start flexing their muscles for a deep playoff run.

Question has HF ever beat WOS before if so when was the last time?

No they haven't.They can flex all the muscles they want but I would prefer to see less flags and more consistent play.4 TDs....They haven't beat any average team by that and HF is not a bad team.

HF is a lot better than you think. 4 TD win isn't happening. They play pretty hard and that QB is for real. He's like a miniature Roschon. I'm not saying HF wins but they will compete.

Will have to give the edge to the Stangs. But it looks like HF has played some good games.  If , and it’s a big if, the Mustangs can play a complete game they should win easily. Most likely will be without the services of Copper or Sibley, but the young backs did a great job against a nasty Liberty team last week. Will be a cold damp field so anything can happen.

The playoff seeding is not affected one bit by the outcome of this game. WOS has already clinched the top spot. HF will get 3rd if HJ beats Liberty or 4th if Liberty beats HJ, regardless of the outcome of the WOS/HF game. I have no idea how this will affect the coaching decisions (for both teams). I'm fairly certain that HF would love to beat WOS, and I'm also fairly certain that WOS does not want to lose to HF. The incentives for the coaches are a little different.

U dont ever want to go to the playoffs on a bad note. Every team should be clicking on all cyclinders.its always some team that gets hot every year.and it makes them even dangerous.me personally I think it's very important for w.o to go into the playoffs rolling. Bcz if this young team confidence is up.look out !!

WO-S has won 45 consecutive district games. There’s no way they’d do anything to put that streak in jeopardy. They’ve also beaten H-F 14 consecutive years since the series began meaning WO-S is 14-0 all-time against them. This could be the year for H-F, who knows, but it won’t be because WO-S gave it away by any means.

Calpreps prediction...

West Orange-Stark 31

Hamshire-Fannett 21

Well cal prep missed this one.score want be that high scoring game. Forcing both teams to run the ball more.w.o will still win. Low scoring field position game.and what ppl dont see is.everyone truly outta be happy that it's the last game for w.o on natural grass.they never could play play in these wet sloppy conditions.ppl dont realize that in horrible weather situation like that.silsbee has beaten w.o twice.no matter the year or how gud they have been.w.o is neutralized in those type conditions.even this year with all the bad weather games.just dont play well in those conditions.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
