1706.5?? Where’s the other half at? Lol

My guess is that NC probably had a odd number of seniors who only needed a couple credits to graduate, so they went to class less than 4 hours a day.

A. Enrollment Calculation Formulas
1. Fulltime students, students receiving an average of four (4) hours or more of instruction
per day, shall be counted as one (1) student each. Students attending school less than

as a half (1/2) student each.

Wow I didn’t know that. Thanks for explaining.

Smh...Sad too.  Some of these kids on this team are close to me and I give them wise words when I see them.  Dropping down would be better...

Had a conversation with an administrator tonight at the Central vs Ozen volleyball, according to them, they will be dropping down.

2 things:

1.  It would be nice if the UIL could wait to count after the xmas break.  Get a better acessment for all ISD's affected by Harvey.  The annual re-districting can wait for a month or two

2.  It would be nice if BISD would eliminate centralized magnet programs and put them in all middle schools, give up on intergration per se, and go to hard MS zoning.  Then, Ozen can increase their numbers and go back to 5A in 2 years if BISD acts now....

Would WOS add or drop any from their district? How is that one shaping up? With only 5 teams in the district they need to add another to help with scheduling non-district. This applies to all districts with only 5 teams.

I’m betting that 5 and even 6 team districts are gonna be a thing of the past.

    • That's exactly what I'm opining. In 2022 PN-G went to state, right? They went 3-6 in district in baseball that same year. I bet the only one that knows that stat either played baseball that year or looked it up. I don't think the baseball record hurt the AD's street cred.
    • Stupid Whoopi tries to use God for her argument and shows why she shouldn’t be on tv.
    • Well I have coached around SETX for the last 20 years.. I have not seen many playing in "their school fall ball team".. seen some playing select.. not high school fall ball... IN FACT some schools are not playing in the school fall ball league cause they can not find enough players.. cause most of them play football..
    • I played 3 sports and went on to play college soccer.  But the football coach wasn't having me do contact drills (or kicking drills) in the middle of soccer district, jeopardizing my soccer playoffs, either.  I think that's the issue here.  All of the guys on here who pretty much only care about football think that's the way the AD should run things, and a good AD should be taking care of all athletes and making sure all teams are as successful as possible.
    • Texas is a football mecca, but a good AD still does more than win at just football.  this isn't 30 years ago.  screwing over other programs and only concentrating on football is not a recipe for promotion.  You can't tell me that these big time jobs aren't going to look beyond football record when they have hundreds of applications?
