A Little Love for the Lovelady Lions

Not much talk on here about an undefeated team in our area that is in the semi finals. We all on SETXsports thought they would make some noise  this year. They have beat some very good teams to get where they're at and I want to give the recognition I think they deserve.

My nephew was the Lions QB several years ago. They did not have quite the success they have now.

i have a friend  who lives at kennard and he is a big lovelady supporter thier program has been good for several years

They have had their best season ever and I don't think anyone saw it coming.  Hope they can knock off the powerhouse Refugio.

Refugio is a good football team but Lovelady is making a habit out of knocking off teams they weren't supposed to beat. Wish the game was closer...I would try to make it.

Refugio hasn't dominated their opponents as much as they have in the past. Still a very good and dangerous football team. If Lovelady can avoid giving up the big play they will have a chance. Refugio will no doubt be the favorite but Lovelady didn't go 14-0 and make it to the semis by being a bad or mediocre team.

Seize the day, take your shot, and let the chips fall where they may!!.....GO LIONS!!!
