True.  No matter what Ozen does, if lumberton wins one of the next 2 games, they're in.  If they lose either one, Ozen will need to win out and hope Lumberton loses to Nederland...

Here are the standings and the 2 remaining games for each team.  A Lumberton win this week secures the 4th playoff spot, period.   We don't even know who we play in the final week because we are so focused on this week!  There is no next week!

Ned         6-2, 5-0   GCM, ???
PN-G       6-2, 4-1   Central, Vidor
Central     4-4, 4-1   PNG, Lee
Lumb       6-2, 3-2   Vidor, ???
Vidor        3-5, 2-3   Lumb, PNG
GCM        3-5, 1-4   Ned, Ozen
Ozen        3-5, 1-4    Lee,  GCM
Lee          0-8, 0-5    Ozen, Central

so if everything works out to a 3 way tie between lumberton, vidor and ozen that would put all teams 1-1 against each other. so we go on to points. ozen(2) is -9 lumbeton(1) is +21 and vidor(1) is -12 at this time. so vidor  would have to beat lumbeton by 17 points?

does that sound right?

I don't know about all that fancy math.  I thought all we had to do is just show up and beat em on the football field.

see that's the problem. You don't see it as a bad thing. Vidor does. But go ahead. Tell your coach to keep giving us bulletin board material.

if yall need bulletin board material at this point of the season to get ready to play for your playoff lives then yall already lost.

    • 🤣🤣🤣  Right on schedule!!
    • You’re quibbling over the word “most”.  I agree that the UK is our most important military ally but we have overwhelming other support from Europe through NATO.   What other support do we have in the Middle East?  What are the “most” important issues? Military strength or intelligence that might head off the need for military action? It’s certainly debatable.  I honestly wouldn’t argue with any points on which if the most critical to our interests. I am sure that people can make valid arguments from different points of view. Military? The UK. Middle East intelligence? Israel.  As far as Israel, SmashMouth said that they “may very well be” the most important. ”May be” is not an adamant statement but a suggestion. They might be… depending on what the discussion is about. Worrying about the word “most” (especially “may be”) seems to be the definition of trivial.
    • That would be cool. LP could potentially host some other playoff games too. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
