Dayton 41 Kingwood Park 35/Final

yep, roll back down 90 with their first loss, scratching their heads wondering how they under estimated the Dayton Broncos. Broncos by 7, 34-27.

Smh, I like your confidence man. Crosby's probably going to get 27 in the first half though. Say it out loud "KP just put 35 on our starting defense". Crosby might not even punt until the second half.

I do know anything can happen in this one though.

Refs @ Turner smh, never heard in my life a penalty for running into the holder on xpt try.Best job of watergate type meeting on simple calls ever=homecooking deluxe

I would call it home cooking but I honestly believe that they just had no idea what they where doing. Every call was like watching a 2 year old try and figure out rocket science.

Dayton had 5 penalties for 55 yards and KP had 7 penalties for 60 yards. I couldn't really tell on the spot thing but they show replays of every play and they were calls you really couldn't argue with if he calls it the same way for both teams.

I know it sucks to slow the game down but I think it's cool they took the time to get the calls right, think about what that game just meant. It put Dayton in the playoffs with Porter being left on the schedule and put KP in a position where they probably have to win out.

Worst officiated game I've seen all year. Game extended at least an hour because of them. No clue even where to put the ball half the time.

For a team not worried about Dayton there sure were a bunch of Cosby fans there last night.

The Broncos have shut teams out the second half this year and that's what's gonna happen next Friday. I don't care what chron. com shows and I don't care what rank Crosby has, they go deep into th playoffs 1 year and now they are #2 in the state bla bla bla bla. Friday night the Broncos are whooping the Cougars in our house, whatever it takes. The past two years have been great games, difenantly games of the season, and this one will be no different, but the Broncos do pull this one out.

one part left out is the ball was tipped. Should have been no flag. Also had an intentional grounding called and the ball was placed back at the original line of scrimmage. That's just a few examples of many. I'm not blaming the officials for the close game but they were really bad. This quote which I jacked up was meant for WOSgrad. Lol

I am expecting a full house next Friday... Better get their early. It will be the game of the week in SETX.

It will be packed on the visitor side for sure.  From what I have seen of Dayton's game this year they better go pass out free tickets.  Looked like there were as many Crosby fans on Dayton side last night as there were Dayton fans.

Go Crosby !

Dayton better hope they don't draw PNG in bi-district if that is the defense they are putting on the field.

Aint skeered, morse threw for 356 and lost, defensively not sure they can handle a 275 avg o/l and a 287 yd avg Bronco rush attack + special team play.if you on top doesn't matter about points,no reward for stats, smh

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
