That is not the topic here....you brought up your ignorant argument that Jesus was a socialist......I showed very clearly that He was not.......don't try to change topics just because you got owned in the original one........ :P

I asked if you guys thought he was a socialist since he fed the multitude.

I graduated with a 4.08 on a 4.0 scale. I finished in the top 10 percent of my class which guaranteed that I would be admitted to any university in Texas. Your accusations are absurd. Geez, why are you so angry?

the real question is: From which HS...so you were the brains among idiots...what does that prove other than the bar was lowered so that you could "succeed" but, is that "real" success? or afirmative action at it's finest...

 

I'm probably the happiest guy you could ever meet....I love life! Just hate losers - and decided a long time ago I will not be of the "silent" majority any longer....I will say what I want, when I want, and call out the lazy...the racist...the liberals...anti-Christ...etc. and since you fit most if not all of those criteria - I speak against you the most!

help them do what? make better choices......their damn education is FREE...so why should we "give" them money, food etc...when they REJECTED our "help" of providing FREE education from K - 12 (which most won't even do that) then there's college, the poorer you are the freer it is....all about choices....some of us just feel there should be accountability and consequences for those bad choices - NOT rewards

hardin-jefferson. I also graduated from A&M. I didnt flunk out so I cant be dumb. Jesus said to help the poor and widows etc

ah, so I was correct - affirmative action, and the race card if they didn't give (help) you finish in the top 10% due to fear of being called a racist...makes sense now - HJ met their quota.

Show me where Jesus said to help the poor via government intervention/redistribution. We help the poor more than any country in the world but you are not satisfied?

Jeremiah, speaking of King Josiah, said, "He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well." 

Psalm 72 begins with a prayer for kings or political leaders: "Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to a king's son. May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. May the mountains yield prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness. May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the needy, and crush the oppressor."

Even Satan can quote scripture to fit his needs......these passages in no way support your thesis that Jesus was a socialist, nor does it support your belief that we should be surrendering our duty to care for the poor as individuals to a government scheme which makes us ALL poor.......Psalm 72 is SOLOMON praying to God for God to give him those qualities...it's not a command from God to us.....Jeremiah is praising Josiah for those qualities because he was one of the few kings of Israel or Judah that showd them.......Paul tells us clearly that we should rightly handle the Word, not try to manipulate it to serve our own purposes....again, that's what satan does when he quotes scripture.......

why is Solomon praying for those attributes? Is it because those qualities please GOD? What about the other scripture?
