Actually, you have this backwards. Pearland came back from the two deficits, and missed the tying 2 pt. conversion with about 3:00 minutes left in the game. Manvel then ran out the clock. Pearland was playing without their 2 starting RB's. Good game from listening in.

You are right. I was at the game and Manvel jumped out to an early lead. Pearland battled and almost tied it up. Great football game to watch.

Unfortunately for WB, you won't be able to stop Manvel. They will move the ball at will. This game will get ugly quick. Manvel will score 50+ and WB will be lucky to get out of the 10's.

...and that's a doggon shame. West Brook has big time players that should give anyone they play problems. With a hug o-line and pretty good rb, and a stud wr, on paper, Manvel should get a game. But there is....... well, you get my point. Smh

Bruins need to decide if they're gonna' be the team that lost to NS 29-27, and beat CV 49-42, or the team that got blown out by LP 42-13. Manvel's style is much closer to NS & CV's this year than LP. Not to sound bad to Essex, but use Aubrey at QB. Holes are there to be found in Manvel's D. Gonna' have to put your big boy pants on...

The starter they was missing hasn't did anything vs Manvel in 2 years. The kid they had last night is better, not faster but better. Kid has patience and hits the hole exacty how the play is designed.

Don't see WB having much of a chance but if they get off to a decent start with a good mix of run and pass and not get behind and have to pass every down like they did against LP; they have a chance. Very slim but a chance. It will have to be a perfect game. Clock control, keep the Manvel offense on the sidelines. WB will have to take some chances on D rather that be an all out blitz or have someone just shadow King, just something different than what they have done defensively all year and Manvel does not expect. If not, turn out the lights the season is over and Manvel wins big...
