I agree. Wasn't pretty, but finally a win.

Definately not pretty but a win that was much needed by this Tiger team. The first half definately looked like two struggling football teams. The third quarter was a good one for the Tigers. We saw a few changes for the Tigers on both sides of the ball. With Thomas starting at qb, you would think it was for his running ability but he really didn't run much tonight. I don't know how much I really like the two qb system but it worked pretty well tonight.

Tavoris Brooks was off the chain tonight!! 237 tough yards! He's one tough son of a gun.

 

Brooks now has over 600 yards in just 5 starts.

Splendora came in with nothing to lose and played like this was a playoff game. They ran a ton of trick plays and ran them perfectly. I think every one worked. From kick-offs (Splendora got two) to offensive alignment, to get Bradford the ball. When Silsbee went up by two TDs in the third it looked like they where going to blow the game open. Then Splendora would go to their bag of tricks and get into the end zone. Then on the kick off pull another trick out of that bag and pooch kick the kick off and get it. As a football fan it was something to see, just not on the other side of it. Silsbee answered with a deciding TD in the fourth and the defense did the rest for the win. Now on to the next game. Go Tigers!!!

When we played Splendora, I wasn't really impressed with Bradford I think we kept him to about 40 yards when we played them. I think BC and Splendora will be a good game.
