Local Rankings?

I was wondering if the administrators rank the local teams like in years past. I would be intrigued to see this started back up if not!

I am not an administrator, but I'll start the discussion and throw a list out.

5A - 3A:
1. Bridge City
2. Dayton
3. Silsbee
4. Barbers Hill
5. Tie. - Buna
5. Tie. - West Orange/ Stark

2A - Private Schools
1. Warren
2. Evadale
3. Kountze
4. Colmesneil
5. West Sabine

No mega-computer crunching strength of schedule, and all the money-balls saber-metrics(sp) just looked at records on THSB, Maxpreps and THSBCA.

Evadale doesn't have a guy who breaks 82 mph warren doesnt either. Evadale yeah there are worthy of the #3 ranking in 1a but if you look at overall schedule as well as talent level and kountze rises above these two

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Draw up your ranking and put it out there. I personally would wish my team wasn't ranked and that everyone would think it was just another easy win on their schedule.

I haven't seen enough 5A-3A ball to give a ranking but my 2A-1A/private would be

Its always good to fly under the radar! My junior year at Evadale we were unranked nearly all season and then played for the state championship. My senior year we had everybody back and were ranked #1 the entire season but lost in second round

I believe Kountze would beat Evadale head to head but in a rankings standpoint you have to consider records.  While Kountze has played the tougher schedule the win/loss record is not #1

why don't we find some voting members on the board and send our votes to a designated person to count the votes and rank the teams on votes and such

Kountze would beat Evadale lol Evadale hasn't really played any tough teams ..but everyone has their own opinion... Evadale looks to be a pretty good hitting ball team but I think Kountze's pitching would quiet their bats..

I for one completely forgot about GCM because thet are in 24-4A  what is their over all record?  I'm sure they have played more than 8 games than what has been reported.

I was on the fence about Crosby in my rankings but mainly because I do not know a lot about them.
