All that size is good, but in football you must have skills and speed. What does the 5"11 245 kid run in the 40?

He has lineman speed.... Therefore he is a lineman..... Center last year for the JV, not many snaps got away from him.... Like I said, he has to prove himself..... These  boys have skills, most were sophmores last year so, yeah yall beat us..... Our sophmores made ya fumble 5 times..... Lets see how that goes this year now that we are bigger, stronger and faster..... And have some skills under the headset...

The Bobcats will definitely be loaded. Tyler Carey (T-Red) is a nice little CB and scat back, Colby Espree at 6' 200lbs can play LB or Safety and any of the RB positions, junior to be Leyson Cassity will be a nice defensive player at potential backup QB at 6'3" 190lbs and sophomore to be David Todd may be a top newcomer at DE/TE at 5'11" 220lbs.

I honestly can't remember an HD squad with this much returning talent in the last couple decades. Not to mention a great coaching staff and tremendous off-season program. The sky's the limit for this team in 2013.

I never thought there could be a guy who talked as much trash as I did my first year here. Guess I was wrong.
One thing about my2cents, Vidor has been able for the most part to back up your trash talk. ;)

I'm interested to see which BISD senior has a better senior season, Tony Brown at Ozen with all the hype we hear about him, and Justin Hervey at West Brook who gets overlooked in my opinion. Hervey has a lot of speed and is built like a Greek god, I expect huge things from Hervey.

Kendrick Hopkins RB Nederland.
Today McNeese came down and talked to him.
Wish he would have stayed at Hull-Daisetta. Great kid and player, grew up with my brother.
He's been in Ned for a little while now, I've known him for about 5-6 years in Ned. Are you sure he's from Hull- D?
Yes, he played pee-wee football with my brother and went to elementary here at HD. I think junior high a year also. Good kid and family. Petey is what we called him in HD.

Crosby other than the Twins and Singleton.

1. Josh Blackburn(56), sr. - 6'4" 220lbs. Three year starter and honorable mention all-state at left tackle last year.
2. Chase Nix(45), sr. - 6'2" 210-215lbs. Three year starter at LB.
3. Cullen Lee(88), sr. - 6'3" 195lbs. Two year starter at receiver and with nearly 900 yards gone with Justin Walter should get a lot of targets.
4. Daniel Kasprzak(23), sr. - 6' 195-200lbs. Austin's backup last year but could play LB this year. Extremely physical and smart. I graduated with his sister who was top 10 in our class.
5. Tristan Cotton, so. - Will be the backup qb on the varsity next year. Elite play-making ability but around the Twins size. It looks like they're going to play the 8th grade qb on the jv next year who's already about 6'2" so one of these two will be the qb after Aston graduates. I also played with Tristan's twin uncles.

*Heights and weights are what's listed in the program. I've stood by the 8th grade qb and he's a couple inches taller than me so I estimate 6'2". He and a couple other kids are already dunking the ball in the middle school. I think the four seniors will play college ball somewhere.
How big is Hopkins? I know Ned played 14 games but he had over 1,500 yards last year. I'm trying to figure out why he isn't getting more love on the recruiting circuit with Ned's success? I know plenty suitors have come through to look at Washington which is how other kids get noticed. I wonder if it's the same issue that happened with Mosley? A "team makes the player" type thing?

Smaller than Montana I think. I know he isn't as tall as Montana but I'm not sure about weight.

I'd say 5'10 180. But the kid is one of the strongest in the program.
mosley was big had good speed and was the best rb i have seen out of ned. I honestly think he got overlooked. Hopkins is a good back but imo not near as good as mosley was.

Hopkins runs like Mosely did, downhill and tough to take down.  I think if he puts some weight on in the offseason he will surpass the yardage he got last year.
