Whether you like it or not, McDonald is the best hire here. The players and community support him 100%. The man is about as loyal as it gets when it comes to this job. Lumberton born and raised and came back to coach the game that he loves. Bringing in an outsider is not always the best move, because honestly to most outsiders, Lumberton is a stepping stone job. Reyes benefited greatly from that stable of kids he had. With all the talent graduating, this job is gonna be tough. McDonald isn't some guy who is gonna treat this as a notch on the ladder, and leave. That place is his home. 

From what I heard today, List has been narrowed down to 8 applicants. 4 interviewed today and 4 will be interviewed tomorrow. List will then be narrowed down to 4. These final 4 will then have one on one interviews with the sup & principal.

I agree. #20 beats them down and they don’t wanna hit no more. Then #26 can do his thang. Thunder & Lightning! 

Me too.  I really hope they go a different direction.  I think he’s what Tech was trying to find with McGuire.  The next Art Briles.  Great coach with all the connections to the Texas HS coaches.

Outside looking in, I’d have to say LCM due to buy in from the athletes and community. LCM will cycle, much as we do, as special groups come through and I believe most fans are realistic about that. But they will be competitive each year due to the coaching. 

I keep hearing Dan Lanning (Oregon),  Lane Kiffin (Ole Piss), or Urban Meyer. They let him go this early this season for a reason though. Recruiting? Know who they want?

Hands down huh? Did you miss the scores needville vs huffman and Livingston? Lumberton should win by 2 scores here.

Been watching their Hudl all morning then I found each of their games on you tube. Pretty cool how they do this for each game. Search Neaux Media on you tube
