On a positive note, I heard some folks were blocking the stores so looting could not happen.....

  Maybe so......but I have some serious questions...   Attorney: Dorian Johnson confirms he was with Brown at store robbery. This was I believe the "key" eye witness that said Brown's arms were in the air and he was not the aggressor, etc.......   Do you still take him as a credible witness?   Because I sure don't.....

  or help it....   I don't think it really matters......I don't think he has a chance at President anyway.....

  Not sure.....   But after reading reports, it appears he was shot in/at the vehicle and died 35' from the vehicle.......it never states he was shot 35 feet from the vehicle.

  So an officer can't "simply" confront someone walking in the middle of the street?    Here goes the spin......had he not confronted him for that "traffic" law he was bending he would still be alive......

  I think it's the perfect picture of a "college bound" kid with a bright future....   And that is the problem.....The media and certain people are trying to make this kid in to a saint, when in fact, he was probably a normal stupid teenager.  As TVC stated, the picture means nothing and has nothing to do with what happened......but when the media paints that perfect picture, photo's like this don't help the image.....

    So you have to have a previous criminal record before you can rob a convenience store?   And kids who are about to go to college do not commit crimes......   Good to know.....

When we hear about parents having "The Talk" with their children, it usually refers to the "birds and the bees" conversation. Not so in the African-American community, where "The Talk" is instructions on what to do if an African-American teenaged boy is stopped by police officers. Grimes told us about her talk with her sons, "I said if you're even stopped by the police, you just roll down your window, ask what is it that you need to do, don't try to get out of the car, don't try to have the last word."     That is the SAME thing my parents taught me........and I'm white.   [Hidden Content]

  It would not affect me usually, but if I wanted to post an off the wall link to support an opinion I could not. I would be tied to CNN or Fox.....or I guess mainstream media.

My Son lost a friend of his last year to suicide, he was 12 years old. To this day I can't imagine what that kid was going through to be able to pull the trigger.   While everyone has their own opinions on suicide, as much as I would like to blame that kid for what he put his family through......I can't.

  What is absurd to one is possibly not to someone else. I don't feel it was the post that were the issue (because I ignored most of them), it was the responses of both sides.

  Can you give me one example of anything recently uncovered that would support your comment?   I need groups of people, not one off crazies.....

    Good point.....   I can only imagine now with new technology, but remember years ago when the bank robbers came out all armored up? If they would have planned better and been a little smarter, they could of taken a bunch of cops with them.   I not saying don't be prepared, but "that day" is not close to being near. Those police officers have families and are normal people. They are not like what some would want you to believe.
