I disagree. Several local schools have the potential to make a deep run to state in the next few years. If the right talent comes along and no injury bugs. Vidor and LCM could have potentially went even farther without injuries. We all know a turnover or two can make a difference as well at that level.

Toby seems to be the perfect fit. His record says differently. If he’s the pick, it’s a gamble.

He’s no rookie. As an outsider, to me he seems to have done well.

It will be about chemistry. The right fit will be essential. Foreman or a select other few could fit. However, Toby did not have a good season this year. Some may not remember Thompson did not do well in other districts but he was the right fit for WOS.

I think Peevey had the most accomplish season, even in district, not begrudging Matthews though. Lander with Lumberton could have been considered as well.

Saw this elsewhere and thought I'd share.

Why would it take over a year to come up with intoxication manslaughter if she had drugs in her system? If she failed the drug patch requirement and was arrested again, how could that not further support intoxication manslaughter and support a negligent sentence? After both incidents, why was she not tried for intoxication manslaughter? How did it go from intoxication to putting on makeup? If this is a common process, why would it be an acceptable norm? I could understand a family's or community's frustration and even a "race" claim for his type of scenario. I hope the young lady can learn and grow from this.

It took well over a year for her to be charged with intoxication manslaughter. She was ordered to wear drug patch, failed, then arrested and held without bail. Three years after the accident she’s convicted of manslaughter with five years probation. weird
