This is tonight's catch. They were not as big as the ones from last week. I have a limit of them from 15.5" to 17". It was still fun though and these will be tasty just the same. [IMG][Hidden Content]]

This was my take from early this morning (about Midnight to 1:30AM) in the ship channel under the lights. The largest two were 20". The smallest one was 16.5". I caught about 20 but most were undersized at about 14.5". The seven I kept were fairly decent size though. [IMG][Hidden Content]]

[/quote] Ya.... wut GP did in the first game against PNG (not two months ago but last week) is part of the season also. What they did the next two games ended that season. I didn't know that we got points for seeding but maybe I need to study the rules some more.

I am sure that the people from 19-4A after a single game from Galena Park thinks that they are simply the better team than PNG. ..... at least up until PNG outscores them 30-5 in a double header.

If two teams are tied at the top at 11-3, they will both be co-champions in the district. Their final district record will not change and they will both still be co-champions at 11-3. As far as UIL playoffs though, they both cannot represent the district as champion or as the #1 seeded team.  That team still needs to be determined. It can be a coin flip, it can be a single game or you can play tiddlywinks. You can call whatever you want but it is in fact a tie breaker. No matter what is done by the district committee, it still breaks the tie for first place in the UIL playoffs. Hence the de facto term "tie breaker".

Yep. I've caught them in February moving up to spawn and if the temperature doesn't warm up very fast, they can spawn into May. This year we have had some cool spells fairly late so some of the bass probably have yet to spawn. A lot of bass will spawn more than once but once it gets past mid-May or so, I think that it is over. Water temp is everything.
