No, I happened to channel surf and found it mid 2nd half. Didn't see the incident.
You are right about SEC chickens coming home to roost for UT. Remember the LSU band thing?
The UT crybaby whiners are bringing this on themselves. If they are unhinged because of a stupid T-shirt, they are WEAK!

Until there are fundamental changes at the administrative level the deck is stacked. PNG defied the odds.

PN-G often gets made fun of because of its core values of Honor, Pride, and Tradition, but those things matter.  As I get older and farther away from my time in the PN-GISD, I am more and more thankful for the generations of PN-G administrators, teachers, staff, and alumni that created all the great traditions and Indian Spirit culture that still mean the same thing in 2024 like they did in 1925.  What outanup said was 100% correct.  If you are a student at PN-G and you cannot find a group or activity to join, then you don't want one.  That makes this alum feel proud and I would feel that way if our football team was 16-0 or 0-10.  PN-GISD, alums, and the leaders in the cities of Port Neches and Groves want the kids to be involved from K-12...Honor, Pride, and Tradition meant something in 1925, it still means something today, and it will carry you a long way in life. Here's to Nederland finding the right coach, re-energizing the ISD, and the kids enjoying success.  I still gotta finish with Go Indians.

Yep - PNG has to rely on coaching up the boys we have, and SOC openly rebuilds like they’re in the ncaa. They had no pass rush against PNG last year - If we face them next year, they’ll have an all new team tailor made to deal with us. It’s ridiculous. And , if they win we’ll all stand there and clap and pretend there was anything organic about their team. If we win, they’ll file grievances and try to put asterisks and insinuations on the victory.

I’m not saying they’re breaking the rules by all these transfers. They’re a magnet school and PnG isn’t, etc. But the idea that all the schools don’t put their teams together under the same rules challenges the idea of high school sports altogether.

This outlines how incredibly stupid the grievance was. DISD didn’t file grievances about the Dallas-resident referees that reffed 4 of their 5 playoff games on the way to state. But suddenly they get a ref that isn’t from Dallas and it’s the end of the world.

And, it makes clear what a lot of us already assumed, which was that South Oak Cliff had all the information needed provided to them in advance. This was just a pitiful attempt to gripe about losing.

She really should have had her facts straight before writing a formal letter. They got their info off of social media and went with it. I bet she was wishing she could get that letter back to do some editing, when she found the ref that made the PI call wasn't the same ref.

You don't see me getting angry about you not liking certain offenses but it really gets under your skin about what offenses I do or do not prefer. God gave us each our own  brain  so we could think for ourselves and  form our own ideals, a gift that should be appreciated and not taken for granted.  I was around your style of offensive play for about 15 years and at one time I loved it but now I don't. It's no big deal to me what you think.

    CLASS 5A Region III
#4 Friendswood is the early favorite to come out of region 3 & have the pieces to make another state title run in 2024. #14 Lake Creek, #16 Barbers Hill and defending state champion #18 Magnolia West will be other teams strong enough to make a push for the region title . Crosby, Georgetown, Fulshear, Richmond Foster and Lake Belton are all other teams to watch to make a claim of region 3 champions.

This was my first BB game to see this year and I agree with TradenUp about BH going low to the bigs. I am not a BB guy so thats just a casual opinion. It was a great exciting game to see. Ned is tough! They just fouled too much early and it caught up with them at the end. Good job by BH to dig in and pull it out. Also there was a "600 win" ceremony for the coach before the game.

So are you claiming Todd and staff won't be telling their team WE WUZ ROBBED and we (SOC) will be on a mission to hunt down and "avenge" PNG in 2024?  You are claiming the noble Todd and the noble SOC staff has just moved on from this point never to mention it again, correct?

Dallas filing any sort of grievance with the UIL is hilarious.  They are the dirtiest district (and region with the metroplex in general) of any area of the state and it isn’t even close.  They made an example out of Duncanville in basketball but honestly that’s the tip of the iceberg.  I would bet a large amount of money that SOC has multiple starters that are questionable enrollees at best.

Violations occur all the time.  Even by moderators.  I'm not admitting anything was violated.  Just someones opinion.  I may have to start making copies of violations, including moderators.  This "selective" concern has been a problem here.  I already have a copy of 2 moderators and a non-moderator violating the "stay on topic" rule but only the non-moderator got "warned."  At this time I have chose not to do anything with this difference in treatment.  Was this subject locked because of violations, which again, happens all the time, or because the moderator was being called out for being guilty of rule violations himself?  Again, not picking on one:  all moderators have been guilty of rule violations.
