The BH coach is underrated. People who contend that BH wins due to, or mostly due to talent alone are wrong. Last year the team was 40-7, and only lost to a very tall Manvel team by a point, after beating them twice before in the season. Its hard to beat any quality team 3X in a row. Law of averages. I want our coach to stay as long as she wants.

I hate Anahuac lost the young man, he could have done great things in 3A. Sky's the limit for Rusk now, I guess.

Exactly, imagine if any pro franchise fired someone for taking a knee. The world would have a "free speech" thermonuclear meltdown.

You are right, he might have to find a different employer that pays much less, but the retirement plan Mr. Bass has is out of this world.

100% I remember watching a debate during the Republican primaries a cycle or two ago, moderated by CNBC's Rebecca Quick. With a huge grin on her face and a bright gleam in her eye, she made inflammatory comments back and forth and baited the candidates into arguing with each other. Not debate, but to argue. Finally Ted Cruz had enough and called her out. Ted would not take the bait. He told here in front over everyone, "Rebecca, you don't want a debate, you want a made for TV cage fight. Just stop it." -

Thats a wide range. If BH is closer to 2200, they stay 5A. If its 2300, likely 6A. Either way everything might change the next round after that. -

You are right on. If LP follows the the North Shore model even to some degree, LP can be good to very good. If it turns into a Pasadena model, then not so much. I think the former for LP. -
Don't you think Hunter Bidens criminal actions have maybe... I dunno... SOMETHING to do with funneling million$ of bribes to "The Big Guy"? The Republicans don't care much about Hunter, but they do care about connecting the dots which is a process they have to do. That is very much in progess right now no matter how much the corrupt Merrick Garland and the weaponized FBI desperatly tries to cover up all the Biden family crimes. More shoes will drop. Its coming.

I have read on several automotive forums that Texas LEO's are generally fine with it. One summed it up pretty good, saying inspections does little or nothing relative to other measure that TX should take. First is get rid of the counterfeit paper license plates that are totally out of control, and that solves a lot of problems. Then (wishful thinking) is to eliminate or greatly reduce unlicensed drivers, typically an illegal immigrant in a decrepit $500 car with zero insurance. Taking these off the road would be far, far more beneficial than any inspections.

Shiner wins football, so I am pulling for Harleton here. -
Of course not! It was CLEARLY an illustration that Anahuac could simply overpower half their opponents by just running the ball and playing defense. I even listed the ones I thought. Do you really think a Hardin or a Tarkington would beat Anahuac if Anahuac played their LG at QB?? Seriously? Geeze, relax, take a breath. Its nothing more than a discussion, that's all!
-
I went to great lengths to say I was NOT referring to them. Did you miss that?
-
100%. I have heard people call it "daddy ball" before. I worked with a guy in the past that said that a lot. (Of course this is in NO WAY related to the excellent, excellent QB we are discussing here).
-
Lets keep the correct context, please. I said "in that district". That matters a lot. Last year Anahuac was athletic enough to run over the like of HJ, SA, Hardin, Kirbyville, Tarkington, and even their first round opponent Westwood if someone could simply hand off the ball. The Anahuac D would do the rest. Lastly, North Shore won State with a freshman QB year before last. In 6A.
-
Thats the exact best thing they should do. If so a great three years await. Best wishes to all.
-
Freshmen play and start and win on varsity in 3A. Its not all that uncommon. Put Anahuac's back up left guard at QB and Anahuac still wins 5/10 in that district.
-
There are occasional exceptional freshmen that elevates and transforms their team. Anahuac went 9-3 with one playoff win the year before he arrived, and Anahuac went the same 9-3 with one playoff win with him last year. I hope no one will accuse me of "hatin' on him" because I look at it analytically. I really do wish him the best, and his best days are hopefully ahead, but if you QB an athletic Anahuac team to a 13 point win over 4-7 Buna, I don't think he is the starting QB at North Shore, Katy or Atascocita under any circumstance, or even PN-G or PAM at least at this point. 89, I respect your opinion, what do you see as his signature win so far?
