Everybody played under the same "clerical error" through the season. It should not have had any effect. No team had any advantage because of it, and LP is not a "victim" of it. It does illustrate the value of playing until the you see 00:00 on the scoreboard. Any team that lets an opponent score in the first second, anywhere in between, or in the last second, its on them. Funny thing is, LP was undefeated in district after week 5. LP could have had run the table in district and secured the undisputed #1 seed but LP lost to PAM. Instead of blaming LP for that, you focus on refs, homecomings, and last second TD's from a previous game. Still. Now thats entertainment.

My prayer for you is that at some point in your life, you can get over "last second TD's,", "refs" and homecomings. BTW BH got over playing with half a team out during mid season... Just a thought, lets get past this week and see where everyone lands. No one really knows until its done. Then, we can all hopefully play our best whoever and wherever we play.

We are getting ahead here because nothing is locked in, but I would not think KP and Porter could stay in SETX if BU and WB drops. I don't see a way.

In that case, what do you think the 5A-1 district would look like? WB, BU, PAM, BH, GCM, RSS, Lee... That's the seven "most east", but usually the UIL tries to avoid odd numbers. Add back LP or Crosby, or something like that?

SETX also has one of the weakest 3A-1 districts in the state. It has been that way for years. District 9 looms ahead with Diboll (beat leader Kirbyville 28-14) and Woodville (beat OF 19-7), then you get the likes of Columbus, Lorena, Hitchcock and Franklin. How many wins do you think 10-3A will pick up?

Some thoughts. First huge win by BH! Anytime you beat someone you previously could not, it's a big win. PAM has been the one to beat in the district and BH did it last night. Congrats to Absek and the boys! You brought it! Eagles need to celebrate, then get lazer focued on 6-3 Porter who is alive and fighting for their lives. It will NOT be an easy road trip next week. BH has to bring it again. PAM just had an off night. It happens to everyone at some point. IMO PAM should not panic. Their althleticism and talent is still there to make a deep run regardless of their loss to BH. I bet PAM will crush KP next week. I hope PAM is patient with their coach. Sometimes the best decision is to not make one. Its gratifying to see BH overcome all the injuries and adversity this year. A month ago BH was playing with half a team and took a L. Now BH fully controls their destiny. Keep it up Eagles! Still lots of work to do! Go Eagles!!!

Thank You, it was. As of last night, Absek has officially put his stamp on the program. Its funny to go back and think of some of the shade thrown his way since he arrived. I said several times there is a process at work, it wont happen overnight but he is indeed building. It will take some time. One certain poster from a nearby program said "BH was crying our eyes out missing TW" which was beyond perposterous, and another described Absek as a "mentee" to their "mentor" coach thats currently 1-7. Of course shade thrown at BH and epic disinformation is expected from them. In any case, I am glad to see Absek finally get some recognition from the outside. I like the trajectory BH is on, regardless what the rest of this season holds for the Eagles. The depth is building in the lower classes. BH picked up a winner.
