Orangefield (42) @ Buna (22) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Yeah it amazes me some want to throw rocks at LH when they are having a RARE off year. What they do is not for everyone thats for sure but LH has been very, very successful with it. 95% of teams in TX would be envious of LH's program and accomplishments. They owe no one an apology! -
I would think Absek might give the injured payers another week to heal up if they are not needed vs, GCM. At least I hope that's what he does. I would hate for any of them to have a re-injury at this point. We need to get people well as much as possible. JMO.

La Porte (35) @ Barbers Hill (28) - FINAL

False narrative. No one is making any excuses. No one is trying to "change any score". Take your win that LP rightfully earned and move on, hopefully with a bit of class. -

I bet you turned backflips in celebration 5 blocks down the street. I know Haters gonna hate, congrats. I hope your life is somewhat better now. I just hope that meaningless last second TD that triggered you so badly won't wreck whatever is left of your life. GEEZE. -
Kerrville tivy 34 liberty hill 28 final !!

Yeah, LH has won State 2X and they been there some other times too. They usually make deep, deep runs regularly. I guess it is noteworthy if they are having a down year for a change. -
Here's How Trump Beats the Georgia Indictment!

If its on TEXAS soil, and not literally on the non-existent international "border", Texas has the right. What about abortion, UT? How about a full Full ban in TX? States rights! -
Hardin (0) @ Anahuac (13) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
That's a shocker. Anahuac should have won by 30+. That and Kirbyville soundly beating EC? What's going on in this 3A district? -

Pretty much as described, LP played well and BH just didn't. I said earlier (and was accused of sandbagging) that BH was a walking MASH unit. It was true. BH has been able to get by so far playing weaker opponents but that was not the case last night. That, and the uncharacteristic passing game difficulties was too much to overcome. LP was fortunate to catch a wounded BH this week. At full strength, or close to it I believe BH would have won. That's not an excuse, just an honest observation. Injuries are just part of the game. You deal with it and overcome them but BH did not on this occasion. Next week the Eagles will get back in the win column. ln time BH will get some healthy starters back. BH did have a a bad night, but its time to put LP in the rear view mirror and get back to business. I believe they will. Go Eagles! -
District 17-5A Standings
Separation Scientist replied to Steven Avery's topic in High School Volleyball
I agree with 99. No offense to anyone but this district is WEAK outside of BH. Its great BH plays tough competition in pre district. -
Barbers Hill (49) @ Crosby (34) - FINAL

Its all good, there is no home cooking in FB, but if people want BH to live in their heads that's perfectly fine. LOL (I don't watch BB so I won't comment either way) -
FTLOTG, I understand your perspective but I also believe in "let the players decide it" whenever possible. A good ref in any sport will try to swallow the whistle "up to a point" when they can. Based on what I am reading here it really did seem inadvertent, unintentional, and had no impact on the play. Just my 2 cents.
-
Classy as always. BTW (since you insist) who are the O'fers playing this week?
-
Polls are fun or whatever but meaningless. I would never worry a second about them, or homecomings, or hype videos, etc. Heck certain ones have trashed the BH program severely over the years and look how things are now. None of their shade ever mattered. What someone clicks on in a poll matters even less. PAM football is WELL known. No worries.

Buna folks, give me your input.

Chucks in Evadale! Best BBQ in TX. You'll pass right by it on the way. -
Is this BH vs. LP?
-
"homecoming". It was in the previous post. Our head coach is not a distraction! Absek rocks!
-
As far is football is concerned, homecoming is the most overblown thing ever. It actually can distract the home team to a degree. It seems you are trying very hard to spin LP as some sort of "disrespected victim" to rile things up against BH. It won't work. BH is walking MASH unit and is dealing with possible HC distractions. LP is playing at their home away from home. Advantage LP.
-
What part is not true? I would LOVE to say BH is at full strength, but if you are reading through these threads the past few weeks you know that is no where near the case. And you are playing at your home away from home, right? Zero sandbagging. I am 100% accurate in my statements.
-
See above. Actually BH is so banged up right now its going to be very difficult for the Eagles. LP has the advantage and is even playing in their home away from home.
-
Thats not a BH guy making that prediction. BH has nothing but respect for LP, and no one at BH thinks that.
-
Yes, just sharing that info for others. Agreed. BH has some of the best wins in the State, too.
-
GCM losses: Humble, Foster, Dobie (2), LaPorte (2), Needville, Pasadena, Santa Fe BH losses: St. Mary (OK), Dripping Springs, St. Johns, Lake Travis, Bishop Lynch, Grand Oaks, Vandegrift Note, BH swept Dobie, LaPorte, Foster.
-
It was. BH had far more fans than Crosby, and as the 2nd half implosion took hold the few Crosby fans left headed for the exits.
