A&M offense looked pretty good. They have some good receivers The defense under Elmo looks pretty bad especially the secondary doesn’t look Giving up 24 to UTSA won’t cut it. Look for ND to score at least 35

Always over rated Texas!!! Arch was off , however the receivers did a horrific job on their routes. Way too many penalties, RT #73 hurt them badly and defensive secondary pretty weak. Probably 8-4 or 9-3

Nederland not scoring a TD vs Lumberton tells me they are BAD. That will be by far the weakest team they play this season. Good possibility of going 0-7 in district and 1-9 for season

Astros division lead is fading fast. August record has been poor. If September is like August they will not win their division and may possibly get caught by the Royals for the 3rd wild card. If September is like August, the Yankees and Red Sox will have better wild card records. Hopefully they will right the ship in September

Good news for the cowboys Milton looked much better tonight and OL looked a little better. At times the defense did well. I know the Falcons are not as good as LA or Ravens, however it was improvement

From what I have seen on this message board is that Nederland is young this year. We have to remember that freshman and JV football is a lot different from varsity. It will take time for the youth to adjust to varsity. It appears that the main issue will be defensively. For some reason and I certainly don’t know why, the Bulldogs haven’t played good defense since Delbert Spell retired. I can’t tell whether it a lack of talent, coaching issues, no priority for good defense, are a combination of these issues. Hopefully they can get a lot of these defensive issues solved in the next few weeks

7-9 in August and 1-3 last 4 games with the 3 losses being BAD, so not a good August so far. The problem the last few games is they seem to be playing worse pitching especially relievers has been bad and the hitting has been bad looking at way too many good pitches and swinging at way too many bad pitches hopefully they will get back on track soon

I said it will interesting the way they are playing since the break. They may be around 500 since the break which is not good, however they seem to be getting worse the last couple of weeks. 22-0 the past 2 games is poor we will see if they can right the ship
